I cannot recommend Jessica Rowson at Oakwood Solicitors highly enough. Overall, I am very satisfied with the services I have received to date. Although there were a couple of times when I thought I should have been kept in the loop before a response was issued to a 3rd party on my behalf, however when I raised this matter, it was taken on board and resolved swiftly-this never reoccurred. My first contact at the beginning of my case was Jonathan, he was very Professional helpful, knowledgeable and he explained the process to me very well-very clear and concise. Nagar & Georgia the solicitors who handled my case were also very helpful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable and clearly communicated the processes & updates throughout. The latter took over my case from the former.

My husband passed away and I had to apply for probate. I didn’t have much communication from my solicitor first appointment was early may and when I asked if everything was complete end of September she seemed surprised, yes it was all complete some time ago but I hadn’t heard anything from her. I went to the offices to pay and collect my husbands death certificate, she walked past me as I was waiting and the lovely girl on reception said I was waiting, she didn’t even look at her just asked Surname and went upto her office, another young lady came to tell the receptionist that my paperwork had been sent down in the lift! She went and got it for me, it was in a used crumpled plastic wallet with a torn off sticker on the front… my husbands death certificate! I would never use this solicitor again and definitely would not recommend.

I had a very positive experience with Gabrielle at Oakwood Solicitors. From start to finish, she handled everything so smoothly and professionally, which made the whole process much easier for me.
