I went to Goughs in Melksham to get a cetified copy of our LPoA requested by Wiltshire Council. I had the original with me, issued by the Office of Public Guardian. They refused to do it as they hadn't done the LPoA with us. Surprised at their response and disappointed!
I only popped in for a quick declaration signing with Andrew and he was an absolute joy - explained the whole process well and helped me not find legal stuff stressful for once! I'll definitely be coming back if I ever need stuff sorted well and in a way I can understand :)

Exceptional service. I used the firm's online form to send a query re certification of documents & witnessing a declaration at the Melksham branch office on Sunday evening. Tasha has been absolutely amazing throughout the whole divorce process. At the beginning I really had no idea what to do and Tasha has guided me through as well as giving me excellent advice. It was a difficult divorce both emotionally and practically and Tasha's support was unwavering. I can't imagine how I'd have managed without her help and I would certainly have ended up financially in a mess. Excellent service. I used Goughs when my solicitor went bust. The quality of Sophie Laird's work was excellent. Conveyancing is never an easy process, but a good solicitor is worth their weight in gold. Would definitely use again.
