I would highly recommend Isabel and her team. Throughout the conveyancing process communication was excellent and any questions or concerns I had were answered promptly and clearly. Isabel took the time to carefully investigate issues and ensure that I had all the information needed to make informed decisions. I always felt that my interests were being protected which as a first time buyer I found very reassuring. The transaction was not without its challenges and Isabel navigated every issue with persistence and professionalism keeping it progressing. Although the purchase ultimately did not proceed, I was very happy with the service I received and would not hesitate to instruct Isabel again in the future.

Throughout the extended process of 14 months to complete our house sale and purchase, Catherine provided exceptional support. We had to sell our house 3 times due to buyers pulling out and the last sale wasn’t without unnecessary delays due to our buyers legal team. Catherine kept us informed at every turn and did everything she could to facilitate the exchange of contracts. We have used Goughs in the past and we are again extremely impressed with the service we received. We’ve just bought and sold our home. Louis was our solicitor and I can say with some certainty that we’d have lost our dream family home if it wasn’t for him. He worked so hard for us, gave good advice, replied to emails and calls immediately - many many other solicitors don’t (our buyers and sellers solicitors certainly were not as reliable). I couldn’t recommend highly enough. They were amazing and we are so grateful to them - above and beyond and 100% worth the extra cost. Thank you guys so much!

I was called by Alice and spoke with her for about 30 minutes and explained my concerns. She gave me some really good advice about how I should progress forward and what I should or shouldn’t be entitled to. Alice was very easy to talk and explained everything in great detail. Exceptional service. I used the firm's online form to send a query re certification of documents & witnessing a declaration at the Melksham branch office on Sunday evening.
