Ruth is a nationally renowned lawyer. Qualified: 1980 Ruth has lived and worked in Chapeltown, Leeds, for most of her life, and is as passionate about the needs and rights of her community today as she has ever been. Other trials have involved serious drug offences, and a high profile terrorism case. In terms of her Inquest work, she has acted over many years for Janet Alder, sister of Christopher Alder who died in Hull Police Station, and, alongside other members of the firm, for three families whose loved ones died at Hillsborough.
