Carbt fault the professionalism and knowledge, a d washelpfull in me being a le to process the charges against me
On Friday 10 July 2026 on the morning of trial a fourteen-month nightmare ended when Catherine Brymer of Albin and Co Solicitors was allowed for the first time despite repeated requests for disclosure from the CPS to view Police Officers body worn footage upon which they were seeking to rely, she was initially given one hour to view the footage with my Granddaughter, who had never before been in trouble who had been charged with an assault on Police. When viewed for the first time it became abundantly clear that there was no evidence of assault on a Police Officer rather an assault by two of them on my five foot granddaughter. What was equally shocking was the fact that the CPS prosecutor had not even bothered to view the evidence on which she intended to prosecute, the prosecution was quite rightly forced to offer no evidence to the Court and my Granddaughter was allowed to walk free with an unblemished record. This would not have been possible without the help of Mrs Brymer and private funding however quite rightly costs were awarded against the prosecution.

Absolutely 10/10 solicitors and barristers they are incredible in and out the court rooms they go the extra mile no matter the case or how much work is required I had Carla as my solicitor and I can't fault her I got the result I was after and after a long fight in court came out with a good result would definitely recommend and use these guys again 👌🙏

Paul looked after me the whole way through my case and I felt he was always really fighting for my best interests in court. He was spotting things that I believe less experienced lawyers would spot while at the same time being down to earth and friendly. I can't recommend him enough!

Having never thought I would be in the position of having to fight to see my daughter, Sally at Albin & Co. Sally was recommended to me. Sally treated me like a human, not another case number which I heard happens at some firms. Being completely new to this family court world, Sally talked me through everything. One thing I really appreciated, maybe not at the time as I wanted my little girl back, was having my expectations managed. Sally has been through this multiple times and knows the process. I wanted my daughter back immediately, Sally clearly told me that will have to do X, Y and then Z. Sally rings back when she says she will, always on top of emails. Hopefully I never need this help again, I know who to contact if I do ! Nothing is too much trouble for Sally, she will fight your corner. Thank you Sally and thank you Albin and Co.

I was represented by Luke Cheshire from albin and co, and after a year in family court, the best possible outcome came from the final hearing which was what was best for my child. From previous experience from other solicitors (ie other firms) I was really surprised that Luke was only a trainee and out shined solicitors I’ve dealt with who were more established in the amount of years within there profession. A very professional young man and knowledgeable in his field thank you very much for all your help with my family young man.

I want to say a big thank you Albin&Co , special to Luke Cheshire , he is a young talented man. We fought for the right to care for our grandson, not knowing the English law at all. We are both foreigners... Luke took us under his wings , explained everything and led us, prepared all the documents, advised. Honestly I can't recommend Albin and Co Solicitors especially Luke Cheshire from the Reading base enough. He was absolutely amazing from the very beginning, right up till the very end. He was extremely professional and explained everything to me everytime and was absolutely amazing with my self. He took the time to get to know myself and my daughter and helped my daughters voice be heard. My daughter has many complex needs and he done his absolute best to make sure everyone understood her needs to make sure the outcome was what was best for my daughter. He's so patient and was there no matter what when I needed to speak to him etc. He truly got to know myself and my family and always made myself feel comfortable and safe. He was always made available throughout the whole year and half he was invovled and I never felt alone in any of it. Albin and Co are truly professional and truly have the best interests of their clients at heart. Thank you for everything Luke and the team, you were truly Amazing and held me together through such a hard time! You went above and beyond for myself and my family.
