After 20 months in proceedings they have today concluded in the best outcome possible for my family. With Judy Johnson’s help, we achieved an outcome that had seemed almost impossible. Judy was highly recommended to us as a children’s lawyer. She supported us in caring for a deeply troubled teenager. When we found ourselves in conflict with a local authority and social workers whom we believed had failed both the young person and us. Those concerns ultimately came before the family courts. In our experience, good hearted carers of foster placements, special guardian arrangements, and similar settings can be unfairly discredited when local authorities seek to avoid responsibility and shift blame. Judy Johnson is an outstanding lawyer who stood by us throughout six gruelling months in which we felt relentlessly vilified. We trusted her judgment at every stage, even as two elderly people facing circumstances we could scarcely have imagined. Judy guided us through every accusation and challenge, including what we regarded as malicious falsehoods intended to damage our reputation. We thought we had already experienced everything life could throw at us, but we were wrong.
