The Sunderland office was dealing with my house purchase which was progressing based on a proposed completion agreed with the vendor. The presuure was suddenly ramped up when the vendor asked for a date one month earlier than planned owing to the impending expiry of their mortgage offer which they had totally forgotten to mention to anyone (including their solicitor and the estate agent). TBI Scanlans responded to this surprise very nimbly and had everything ready ahead of time. Days before we were due to exchange contracts, with completion due a week or so after, we were told that the vendors' solicitor had closed their office and gone out of business! With some limited help from the estate agent and a former conveyancer from the failed law firm, TBI Scanlans kept everything on track even though it all went down to the wire. The team did a great job in avoiding what could have been a total diaster - especially as this all occurred within the two weeks before Christmas.

We used these solicitors through our estate agents as we hadn’t been overly impressed over the years with local solicitors. Tilly Bailey and Irvine were professional throughout with a special thank you to the Solicitor Rachael Lee who was outstanding even when our buyers announced they wanted to complete in the next two weeks. From start to finish the sale took 8 weeks and I cannot thank them enough.

We have recently used Maria Northrop's team from TBI conveyancing Stockton office for the sale of my son's property. It was an eye opener to find out how professional you work. All documents were sent and although it was overwhelming you had the patience.
Jasmine Matthew’s has been absolutely incredible. Being a first time buyer I was a complete beginner but she has been absolutely on it from start to finish, answering all questions I had whilst be very personable and friendly. I fully intend to use TBI again and hope to have jasmine dealing with my future purchases as the process from my side of the chain was flawless heavily down to her.
