I have used EMG solicitors 4 times in 5 years. Each occasion, they make excellent use of support staff who are always up to the job. I have always been given a day when I can expect a response. Once or twice the report back was to explain a delay. But solicitors and staff make sure I know what's happening and why. An expanding business who deserve their success. They have also been proactive in suggesting things I didn't know about or didn't realise were beneficial. Well worth the money.

I rarely feel motivated to write a negative review of a business, as running one myself, I understand the frustration that this can cause. We instructed EMG to produce a simple employment contract for a self employed member of staff in our clinic. We were quoted £900 for this. They were initially helpful. However, it quickly became clear that our emails were not being read and, despite us repeatedly chasing, the process became more and more drawn out. We responded promptly and thoroughly to their questions. They then began to repeatedly asked us questions we had already provided answers to, and then became condescening and rude in their replies. 5 months later, and we have been charged 2 additional fees totalling over £800 due to the 'complexity' of the work. The basis of this was due to information we had provided months before which required them to make more 'ammendements'. What then totally dumbfounded me is that, depsite the fact that the contract is near completion, we were informed that the department has now closed, and have been advised to instruct a new solicitor, which will naturally incur more fees. I have never encountered such a bizarre way of working. I highly suggest anyone who is in need of legal help to look elsewhere.

We have now used EMG Solicitors twice for house purchases, and they have been fantastic on both occasions. Callum, Paige, Laura and Vicky are 10/10 during our most recent move they were excellent throughout. The buyers of our home unfortunately had solicitors who were not very efficient, but tgey were brilliant at chasing things up, keeping us informed, and responding quickly whenever we had questions. They made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and well managed. We will definitely be using EMG Solicitors again in the future and would highly recommend them.

After being let down by another solicitor firm i instructed Helen at EMG solicitors for a buy to let purchase. Due to many factors we had to complete this transaction in a short time frame so as soon as the instruction was given, Helen and her team got to work straightaway. They updated me regularly throughout the stages and kept me in the loop with any issues they felt may arise or be of concern. Everything was explained in great detail. Very knowledgeable team and would highly recommend. They managed to turn this one around quickly for me. Hopefully will be using again for future purchases.

This was a straightforward transaction that was completed in a good timeframe. The onboarding process was quick and communication was generally prompt. However, as first-time buyers, we felt unsupported throughout. We were expected to review complex documents and form our own views, with little guidance provided even when we specifically asked for advice. Communication often lacked clarity, some questions were only partially answered, and several emails went unanswered. On more than one occasion, we also had to remind the team of matters already agreed with the other side. Throughout the process, the estate agent working for the seller had more up to date and accurate information about how the matter was progressing. Overall, the transaction was completed efficiently, but we would not recommend the firm if you are looking for advice, guidance or proactive communication.

We recently sold our flat and purchased our new home through EMG Solicitors, and I honestly couldn't recommend them highly enough. They made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward from start to finish. Communication was always quick, efficient, and professional. Whenever we had pressure from our buyers or needed advice, the team was there to help and keep everything moving forward. A special mention has to go to Joanne, who was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. She always made us feel like we were her top priority and genuinely went above and beyond to support us every step of the way. Chloe was also amazing.
