Laura was a pleasure to deal with from the start to the end of my property sale. I was acting as an executor, selling a property 350 miles away, and Laura was adept at advising on the special challenges that this brings. I initially met Laura at the start of the transaction and was impressed by her friendly and professional manner. This was maintained throughout the transaction, whether by e-mail, phone, or in person. Pauline Warburton listened to our requirement and produced our wills following a draft review. This was in a timely manner and both my wife and I was happy with the outcome. Toni of Foys provided an Outstanding service. Had a Will to process of a medium size, and of some complexity. Foys took the matter in hand, handled all the legal details beyond my ability, kept me regularly updated, conducted all the research into accounts, and government offices, even dealt with legal difficulties I could never handle, and concluded all the affairs in good time. They handled everything with professionalism, and sensitivity; and their fees were were very modest in comparison to the work undertaken. I highly recommend Foys.

Andrew has supported me on previous occasions and, whilst he has not formally represented me throughout my recent proceedings, he has continued to provide invaluable legal guidance and support. My case has been particularly challenging. Throughout the Family Court process, Andrew took the time to walk me through documentation, sense-check correspondence from the opposing solicitor, and was even available should I have needed immediate assistance during court hearings. This was also the case through my financial remedy. One might argue that this is simply part of the job and that Foys should expect no less. However, Andrew consistently went well above and beyond what I could reasonably have expected. He not only provided sound legal advice, but also knew when the best course of action was to advise me not to respond at all, which was often just as valuable. He has always acted with the utmost professionalism. Equally important, his humour and wit have frequently shone through. During what was, at times, an isolating and overwhelming legal battle for a lay person, those moments of humanity made a real difference. It is something I will never forget. Andrew is a genuinely decent man, an exceptional solicitor, and a tremendous asset to Foys Solicitors. His experience, judgement and leadership are qualities that cannot easily be replicated. I understand that Andrew is now in the process of embarking on what I hope will be a long and enjoyable retirement. Before he does so, I wanted to place on record my sincere thanks, and those of my children, who now benefit from the security of a robust Child Arrangements Order.

I cannot recommend Jayne highly enough. She has supported me through an incredibly difficult and stressful period involving both family court proceedings and financial matters, and I genuinely don’t know what I would have done without her. From the very beginning, Jayne has been professional, knowledgeable, understanding and incredibly supportive. She always took the time to explain things clearly, answer my questions and reassure me when I was worried or overwhelmed. I never felt like I was just another client – I always felt listened to and supported.
