Absolute and complete waste of time

Melanie penny does not return your calls, they are a complete waste of time, and not moving along at all. Almost 2 years and they still say they are waiting for the checks to be done. Now considering legal action

Application for Probate

Melanie Penny of Foy & Co was very helpful on securing Probate for my late mother's financial matters. It took a while to go through the court process but eventually lead to a satisfactory conclusion. Thanks for all the help and advice

If you want a conveyancing service - don't bother

Have asked for someone to call me twice in order to work with this company. It's been over a month now and I'm still waiting. When I queried this with the person on reception I was given a rude and stroppy response and told that I should know how busy they are and that they have loads of staff on holiday. - Poor !
Have now found another Solicitor who couldn't be more helpful.

First class service

I called Foy’s today seeking advice on how to go about becoming a power of attorney. I can not express how impressed I am with the whole service from Foy’s today. From the initial phone, to quickly being put to Jonathan. Who then spent 10 minutes of his time fully explaining what I needed to do, in a clear and concise way. Thank you so much Jonathan. I will be sure to come to you in the future should I ever need a solicitor and would highly recommend Foy’s based on my experience today.

Fantastic service

I cannot thank Max Kennedy enough for his legal expertise and professionalism.

I had been let down by another firm of Solicitors who should have been dealing with a time critical piece of work for me. After chasing them for several weeks regarding the progress, I was eventually told on Monday 22nd February that the solicitor dealing with the buyout had left the practice, had done absolutely nothing on my file and there was no one in the practice that could take the work on! I was devastated.

After doing some research my friend ‘found’ Max Kennedy. I phoned your Worksop branch and outlined my situation to the receptionist. She passed my details on to Max and he immediately phoned me. He was absolutely lovely and asked me to email him an overview and the contracts.

Max phoned me back within a very short space of time and said he would be able to act for me and deliver his part within the exceptionally tight time scale of five days inclusive. The following day (23rd February) I received an email from Max at 19.48 in the evening, stating the contract alterations were now complete. Amazing!

I asked Max if he could contact the opposing solicitor to undertake any negotiation and bring the deal over the line by Friday 26th at the latest. Max immediately did this, keeping me up to speed at every point. He phoned me on Thursday 25th to confirm the deal had been concluded!

As far as I am concerned Max went above and beyond my expectations throughout the course of the transaction. I was completely dazzled by his professionalism yet lovely and friendly nature. He worked tirelessly to ensure the best possible outcome for myself, and I can't thank him enough.

I’ve have engaged solicitors previously but Max is in another league! He truly is inspirational and a credit to both Foys and the Law.

I will certainly be giving Max and your firm a massive recommendation to all my friends and family!

With thanks

Will

I have recently completed a new will with Foys Solicitors in Worksop.
My solicitor was Toni Cheetham. I found this lady to be very professional and knowledgeable, she was very helpful in explaining everything in detail whilst making me feel my best interests were her priority. I would recommend Toni Cheetham to anyone wishing to make a will .

Hannah Edgley best conveyancer around.

Hannah and her team Grace and Shania supported me through a house sale and purchase on my own, her knowledge and attention to detail is second to none. She was a great support throughout always keeping me informed every step of the way and a pleasure to deal with, all the girls were. She went above and beyond working extra hours to ensure the quick completion of the sale with not alot of notice taking the stress off me. Thank you so much for all your advice and support I would recommend you and Foys to anyone and will be using again in the future.

Hannah is amazing at her job

Hannah Edgley was my solicitor during a house sale and purchase. Due to the mortgage company involved this was a stressful time in my life as I was given little notice by the buyers of my property to complete but luckily Hannah was on hand. She somehow managed to complete my sale and purchase on the same day which was looking unlikely due to the incompetence of the mortgage company (west brom). Hannah kept me informed all the way through the process by email and she was always quick to respond to any questions I had. I would highly recommend Foys solicitors and especially Hannah who I will be using again in the future for sure! Thanks again so much Hannah you're star!!
