I received excellent service from Danielle A and Danielle G who acted on my behalf with the purchase of a flat that should have been straightforward but due to complications with the sellers proved to be anything but. I particularly valued their excellent communication over the last couple of weeks in keeping me updated as completion neared and their earlier persistence in acting on my behalf in getting the correct information re the purchase.
Completed within the required time scale with efficiency and professionalism. Updated at every stage.
We have just recently completed on a property, Taylor & Emmet were a pleasure to deal with and we would definitely use them again. We were kept well informed and everything was dealt with in a friendly and efficient way.
This was the first time I’d used this company and unfortunately it isn’t one that I’d personally choose to use again which I’m disappointed about as I expected to have much better customer service . The sales process in my opinion was complicated by the over reliance on online communication and the completion of tasks on a portal that required a certain level of IT competence and equipment to be able to achieve . It felt very isolating and impersonal . Communication and updates were poor unless you constantly chased and they certainly were not forthcoming from the company itself . I personally missed the opportunity of meeting a solicitor face to face and developing some sort of personal relationship with them , being able to ask questions that were concerning me and getting immediate answers . There was a lack of progress over many weeks that required constant requests for feedback which I found very frustrating . There are still outstanding issues that haven’t been resolved with money being retained to sort this but no further communication has been received from the company since I completed the sale in April and it’s now June which seems to be a reflection of how things are dealt with . I feel as though I remain in the dark about what is happening and yet it feels as though the sales process on their side has been completed when it hasn’t . From my own personal experience (which Id like to think isn’t the norm ) I feel the company needs to improve its standard of feedback and interaction with customers . On the positive side however the people dealing with the completion itself dealt with it very competently , gave really good feedback by ringing me with updates and the sale went through very quickly on the completion day which was excellent .
I cannot recommend Julie Lomas enough. She was responsive, diligent and helped push through a complex sale in the most professional and thoughtful way. If you are looking for a conveyancing solicitor then I highly recommend Julie, we would have been lost without her.

Amanda and team at Taylor Emmet have been amazing. They have sorted out the sale of a property that wasn’t straight forward due to probate issues, land registry and more. Their constant communication has been outstanding and in a world where online options are available I needed a local office with the consistency and professionalism .
