    Deed of Variation and Estate Management

    I initially approached Palmers in relation to a simple transfer of ownership of my late father's property. However, after going through all the details the solicitor suggested approaching the matter a different way. This benefitted the estate's beneficiaries, it also identified shortcomings in previous legal work undertaken by other legal firms. It was pleasing to have experienced and understanding people explain things clearly and professionally.

    I had an awful experience with this company and I could not recommend them to anyone. I thought it was initially a bit strange to have communications with several different people but I assumed that it just meant they had a good handle on my matter. I was in the process of buying a property with cash and what should have been straightforward took 5-6 months and in the end fell through . The solicitors did not keep me well informed during the course of the sale and I had to constantly request updates. There was a particular issue which was the reason why we couldn’t proceed with the sale and the company did not disclose this to me at any time. I was made aware by a 3rd party who also informed me that the sale would not be going ahead. I am highly disappointed because not once did my solicitors take the time out to explain to me their client what was going on behind the scenes. They just explained everything once the sale had fallen through and I was out of pocket. They also demanded payment for sub par services which I truly believe is undeserving. Do not proceed with the company particularly the Chafford hundred branch.

    Avoid This Firm Almost six months into a no-chain sale and we are no closer to completion. What should have been a straightforward transaction has turned into months of unnecessary delay, poor communication, and a complete lack of urgency. The bar for conveyancing competence is not particularly high, yet Palmers Law and Kay Hales in particular have somehow managed to fall well below it.

    I cannot recommend Palmers, especially Nicola and Keira, highly enough. They have been absolutely fantastic over the last few years dealing with a lease extension for me and more recently, my sale and purchase. They kept me updated throughout the process and were always there when I needed them. Even if it was just to rant about the chain above! You really do pay for what you get and with these guys, its a professional and very friendly service that makes moving home as easy as it should be. Having used a "Cheap and cheerful" conveyancer when buying the property I have just sold and having an absolute nightmare with them (Lack of contact, losing paperwork etc) I would honestly recommend Palmers to anyone!

    Amazing, you get what you pay for, go to a conveyancing firm at your peril. We were have used their conveyancing services, several times. Brooke and her team at Grays are amazing. I have never known such support and speed of response from a legal team, they have transformed our views on the profession. They really take you on and support you. I also briefly met with a lady from their estates department on another matter who was incredibly helpful and supportive, sorry I didn't catch your name. My interactions with this firm have transformed my opinions on legal professionals. If you don't use them then you only have yourself to blame.

      My experience pre Jenifer & Palmers was 3 years of pain juggling, navigating and utter denial from the other side, so I feel personally incredibly fortunate to have had my solicitor- Jenifer supporting me through my personal injury claim. While I appreciate this is her profession, I never once felt like Just a client (ok maybe first visit ) - her experience expertise and level of care truly exceeded my expectations. Bringing not only professionalism, but a warmth and even moments of laughter when most needed. She believed in me from the very beginning and guided me with professionalism, clarity, and I felt genuine care throughout. At times the process felt overwhelming, but she always reassured me and kept everything on track. Consulted but given time to process like an invisible guiding hand, decisions made together What made the biggest difference was her personal approach — she was always approachable, supportive, and took the time to explain things in a way I could fully understand. Thanks to her, I have been able to bring a very difficult chapter to a close, with a success outcome and I will always be grateful.       I asked them for help with a case, they asked me to email them details, which I did, there were a few emails back and forth and they said they couldnt work with the information I supplied then billed me approx £900 despite not providing a service I could use. I questioned this and they said the charge was for reading the information and sending emails. Absolute joke.

This review does not accurately reflect the truth, which is ultimately also why we ceased acting for you, in order to uphold our professional obligations pursuant to our Code of Conduct. We are proud of our team’s diligence in recognising and managing this matter. We note that we received a report from a High Court Enforcement Officer in this matter when recovering the sums due to us that: “The director proceeded to pin the agent against a kitchen sink and grabbed them by the neck with one hand, they began punching the agent with the other. The director continued to assault the agent who eventually managed to exit via the door, the agent then called the police ...” Given your extreme actions taken against a High Court Enforcement Officer, we do not consider further engagement or comment appropriate at this time.

      Terrible Law Firm, been dealing with our simple case for months and months. No communication, never contacts us unless prompted and complained against. Case handlers leave without informing you, cases don't get handed over. Avoid this firm for probate and will execution, at all costs. (which I am sure will be sizable once they send us the bill, for their terrible service)
