A house sale went smoothly and at a good cost. I had hoped to use them to buy something but their cost was likely to be less competitive because we had found them through a ‘generic’ website dealing with many firms.

We were very pleased with the level of support from PCS Legal during our selling and buying a property period last year We had not moved for 37 years and were therefore not familiar with current legal processes PCS Legal carefully took us through the legal forms and processes to be completed Their fees were reasonable and as we were under pressure from our buyers, PCS Legal exchanged contracts on the Friday and completed on the Monday!

My partner and I recently purchased a property through the Modern Method of Auction, with Kylie Bourne acting as our solicitor. From the outset, Kylie was proactive and highly professional. She advised us to have her conduct a pre-auction legal review before the sale, which we did and that decision ultimately saved us a great deal of time and stress once we’d successfully won the auction. The process itself wasn’t an easy one, though that was no fault of Kylie’s. The sellers’ solicitors and the auction company were not particularly responsive or helpful until the very last stages, which made things more challenging than expected. I do, however, believe our situation was a rare case. Throughout, Kylie was diligent and responsive. She consistently replied to emails and calls within 24 hours or faster which was great, especially given that she manages multiple cases without additional cover. She also looked for ways to save us money wherever possible, which we really appreciated. It was clear throughout the process that Kylie possesses strong legal knowledge and conducts herself with professionalism and care. We always felt confident that we were in safe hands. The only reason I rated our overall experience 4/5 instead of 5/5 is due to external factors beyond Kylie’s control. The sellers’ solicitors took three weeks out of our 52-day completion period, which left us with a very intense final two weeks to get everything over the line. Additionally, as Kylie holds a managerial role, there were brief pauses in progress when she was on annual leave, since her position isn’t directly covered in her absence. That said, I don’t hold this against her personally she handled our case extremely well given the circumstances. At one point, our file was also incorrectly marked for stamp duty, which I caught and had amended. Again, this was an administrative error by another department, not Kylie. Overall, we would absolutely recommend Kylie Bourne as your solicitor. She genuinely looks after her clients, provides sound advice, and isn’t afraid to fight your corner to get you the best possible outcome. Any difficulties we faced during the process were entirely external and should not reflect on her personally.

We used Lauren for our move from our flat to house and she was unbelievable throughout the process! Even when the first chain fell through, so was in constant contact with us talking us through the next steps and was always a step ahead of everyone!! The chain was never waiting on anything from us and Lauren would stick to her word and get things done when she said she would! Truly fantastic service and would never even think about using another solicitors for any future moves we may partake in!!

Luke and his team from PCS legal were great, we had a problem with the sellers legal team not responding to our solicitors for ages and they were very slow and not very helpful. Luke had us on his back constantly and everytime we emailed and chased things up he was responding very rapidly and constantly chasing up the sellers legal team for us. AVIOD AT ALL COSTS!! Absolutely disgusting service. Unreilable and unprofessional. We have been trying to complete on a property with no chain, 1 sale for a week and our solicitor is being ignored. All parties have tried contacting them with no success. Use a proper solicitor not a convencying firm.

Absolutely disgraceful service. Was recommended them through GoTo Auctions for a quick purchase and I have had to chase them multiple on time over every issue. They have clearly done bare minimal work on case and left everything to the last minute. 3 times they pulled out if exchanging contracts the hour and sometimes half hour before! Totally disgusting! Messing with people's lives. If you get assigned to Molly Hiron ask for anither team if you are already committed to PCS, if not do not even consider them.
