The team were helpful and worked through some challenges with the property well. There were times when they could have provided better clearer information requests to prevent ongoing back and fourths but overall we are happy with the service. Property purchase was complete. The worked through the Attenuation tank issue well and were able to advise us on that. The team did an excellent job at delivering exactly what we expected, even through some challenges which looked as though were going to kibosh the purchase.
Very efficient service and quick turnaround of information. Professional, friendly, approachable and efficient service from Catie, Chelsea and all the team. It was a niche property being sold - a retirement apartment with a short lease. A special thank you to Catie and Chelsea who have been exceptional throughout.
Catie and Chelsea were outstanding from start to finish. This was a challenging transaction with tight deadlines and real pressure right up to the final stages, but they handled everything with professionalism, persistence and clear communication throughout. Despite the time constraints and complexities, they stayed on top of every detail and ultimately got the deal over the line when it really mattered. I got a reply quickly with a detailed breakdown of costs with no hidden fees at the end. You were also happy to clarify some costing posints such as oversea funds. The people involved generally moved things along as soon as information became available. I felt that there was no need for constant chasing and people knew what they had to do and when. There was also a personal touch rather than queueing up on a long waiting list of a phone call. Special thanks to Ben and Sarah who replied clearly and quickly to any questions we may have had. Examples include the concerns around how to handle the oversea funds and paperwork needed to submit a school admission form that helped my daughter land a spot in our preferred school. I think having that personal touch is definitely worth some extra compared to some of the other ‘high street’, high volume firms who outsource and commoditise some our their services. We wanted to feel like we can actually have the ability to call up a solicitor rather than going through a template based automated process which tends to break down when challenges and non-standard questions pop up. I’d use Backhouse Solicitors myself again and would certainly recommend the firm to anyone I know. Special thanks to Ben and Sarah again, I think they have done a great job and we really appreciate all their and the wider team’s support.
Reasonable cosst, itemised, prompt, efficient, quick to reply to any queries. Quote and actual invoice were consistent. Reasonable cost, cheaper than quote from esate agents suggested solicitor. Good service provided with probate and conveyancing.

The work done was very clear and all questions answered even 'spur of the moment' matters were dealt with quickly and effeciently. The team were helpful and worked through some challenges with the property well.
