The worst lawyers I have dealt with in my life

There is a complete lack of any ambition to do the best by the client at this firm, my experience was what seemed to be a very poorly qualified lawyer with zero interest in achieving a positive outcome, doing the very basic of work and only interest being billable fees

Do not Use this Firm

The most unprofessional, lazy, Sloppy, inattentive, incoompetent, client sabotaging, prejudice, neglectful, ....and a lot more.
it's as though they work for the police rather than their clients and their representation in courts is weak, inadequate and misleadin g.

Avoid this firm of solicitors all of them

Shabaz Ahmed (Edward Duthie Shamash) Great service- and would highly recommend

I had a great experience with Edward Duthie Shamash. I was provided with a hand-working and honestly a brilliant Solictor MR Shabaz Ahmed who supported us and fought for my defence with such due diligence. And we WON the criminal case!. Being a family member during such a difficult time was very emotional for us. However we felt supported and reassured throughout the journey. The Solictor was proactive and gave excellent advice, being trustworthy and a integral part of our successful outcome at trial. I could not have asked for a better legal team- they are the BEST. I believe that more needs to be said about the amazing work that they do. They are helpful, supportive and incredibly professional. I was given professional guidance and information throughout the trial process. Mr Ahmed is an absolute asset to the Edward Duthie Shamash team. Their work needs to be appreciated and rewarded. Thank you for working so hard, even under the Covid pandemic. I am eternally grateful. If anyone is looking into a firm or solicitors I would highly recommend MR Shabaz Ahmed! And the team of Edward Duthie Shamash.

I dealt with James Harrison from the firm, I found him be very helpful in explaining my options, and guiding me . My matter was dealt with quickly and very professionally.
I was contacted in a reasonable time, considering the current lock down and how many firms are short staffed.
I would recommend the firm to any one who has issues, and needs a fast friendly service.

Thank you James.

Farewell to Amelia Freeman 😢 The most understanding solicitor

After Farany Taylor in ilford turned me down and told me that I had no case, and completely dissmised me. I was devasted and confused. I went to Edward and Duthie Shamash in total discouragement, and met Amelia Freeman. I sat down with her, and within 40 mins, she took me on. She is the most understanding and friendly person I have ever met in my life. She's a good listener, very welcoming, and she will always inform you of everything that she is doing or has done.

Guaranteed that they'll get the job done with no hesitations.

The most professional firm that I have ever stepped foot in.

They will always answer your call, regardless of what you have to say.

They are honestly the best in the whole of the United Kingdom.

After 2 and a 1/2 years of going back and forth with redbridge council, They won the case for me. not once did she complaint or got frustrated with my annoyance.

Honestly, She is a one of a kind and I am saddened that she is leaving the firm

The writing of a new Will

It is with the greatest pleasure that I write a review to thank Ms Opwood for creating my new Will.

I am extremely grateful to her for her professionalism, her kindness and all the trouble she has taken to help me.

I had some difficult and complicated requirements and these were all managed with great knowledge and efficiency.

I have total confidence in the advice that I was given and am delighted to have a Will which encompasses all my wishes.

I have absolutely no doubt that not only will I return to Ms. Opwood should I ever wish to change my Will again but I will strongly advise my friends that they should seek her advice if they wish to create new Wills.
