Thortons helped us through an awful desaster. As I am from germany, I did not know anything about scottish law. At first, I applied for the EUSS declaration and it was difficult until I met Siobhan, a great professional who did an excellent job. I was anxious when I went there because I was very afraid that I would not be able to stay and live here. But Siobhan was very kind in explaining everything to me, even though I did not understand English. She was also very kind when I had doubts. I would write to her and she would call me back immediately to reassure me. I highly recommend her. She is a great professional and I am happy that she will be able to help other people.

I'm a little late in posting this review, I thought I had done so at the time, however, as they say better late than never!! I received a 1st class service from Chris Phillips, John MacKenzie & Maria Akunna, when I reached out to them earlier this year. I can honestly say I felt that they went above and beyond in helping me and I would 100% recommend their services.
From our initial enquiry, MacNabs were quick to respond and follow up with us with all we required. The process was smooth and communication was excellent. We experienced a slight issue ( no fault of MacNabs) during the process and the team were brilliant at progressing it and ensuring we were updated. They were also realistic about timescales when the hiccup we had inevitably impacted our completion date, but their transparency about how that might delay things allowed us to change our removal date without incurring even higher costs. I would thoroughly recommend them.

Excellent service after the death of my husband. Patient and understanding at a time when I was fragile. Have gone back to update my will and power of attorney. Again patient and very good at explaining the options available to me.

I visited Thoran Property on Saturday and was advised that Thoran Solicitors would help me on Monday with witness signatures for my affidavit. However, when I went to Thoran Solicitors, the receptionist informed me that they only provide witness signatures for their own clients. This caused me to waste my time and effort. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Thoran Property or Thoran Solicitors to anyone who is not already their client, especially for services like witnessing affidavit signatures.
