I wrote a review on here early September around this company over charging me for a simple land transaction. Ian responded swiftly to the review public stating they will look into it. I have heard nothing since. I am extremely disappointed that they wont even look into a bill which raised from an estimated 3k to 10k. I have no option now but to go to legal ombudsman.

It was very long and complicated case. Our first solicitor Geena Parsons has left the firm without warning , with very poor communication and just forwarded our case to another solicitor without consulting with us. We didn't have any choice as to accept this change, but it involved more time, more stress and much more money. We had to agree to consult a barrister as our solicitor was unable to deal with the case on his own and this was a very expensive process. But this consultation has resolved our issue almost immediately and we just regret that it was not done sooner. Nobody informed us that it can be done rather that costly exchange of letters with solicitors. A very stressful experience overall. But the matter was resolved positively in the end. We cannot thank our Boys and Maughan Canterbury office enough for the outstanding service we received, and in particular, Gemma has been absolutely amazing.
