First Class
Having moved to near Rye in East Sussex, we decided to update our wills. Because of changes in the law and our family, we needed a solicitor with extensive knowledge in such matters. We were therefore fortunate enough to have Mrs Dhruva Patel respond to our initial enquiry. At every stage from beginning to end she patiently explained options and procedures. On one occasion she even made a domiciliary visit. Although our primary communication was with Mrs Patel, we also had contact with legal colleagues who were polite and helpful. We therefore have no hesitation in recommending the company and Mrs Patel in particular.

The service was excellent. The main impressive aspect was that someone always replied to my queries very speedily, even when Jessica herself was unavailable. Queries from the buyers were dealt with efficiently which wasn’t always easy as this was the sale of a property I have never lived in. I was acting as executor. The service relieved a lot of unnecessary stress.

Berry & Lamberts provided first class support on a complex will administration. The solicitor assigned ensured that all legal and technical aspects were addressed correctly and in timely fashion, handled communications in personable but highly professional and responsive manner, and guided the case through the necessary stages to satisfactory conclusion. As an independent sole executor, unconnected with the beneficiaries, I was particularly conscious of my responsibilities and, being based overseas, somewhat challenged by the physical practicalities of dealing with the estate. In this context I was very grateful for the reassurance and expertise of my solicitor and staff of Berry & Lamberts.

Melissa was great to deal with from minute one. Clear advice and extremely prompt on responses for any query no matter how big or small. She was great with attention to detail in any small print within the opposing solicitor's terms and contracts, and left no stone unturned.
