Sarah works hard and is very good at what she does. Trusting her with the most precious gift we ever receive in this life our children. Family court is hard stressful traumatic, Sarah and Ellie her paralegal are the best team. They do everything and go above and beyond to ensure the child’s needs are paramount. Both Sarah and Ellie I would highly recommend. If I am ever unlucky enough to be taken back a 3rd time I would definitely have them both at my side.

Clinical Negligence

Excellent and compassionate service throughout a difficult case

My case was a medical negligence claim relating to my late mother, which was naturally a very difficult and emotional process for our family. Leonie and her team were excellent throughout. Leonie was always understanding and empathetic, communicated clearly and kept me fully informed at every stage. She took the time to explain the process, make sure I understood the possible outcomes and ensured that I always knew where we stood with the case. As a result of Leonie’s tireless commitment, hard work and professionalism, we were able to reach a fair settlement, and we are extremely happy with the outcome. John Lambe acted for me in resolving a dispute with my late Father's estate. He took the time to understand the circumstances under which my Father signed the Will. At all times he was friendly, supportive and pragmatic. He has a vast knowledge of contentious probate, access to an exceptional Barrister, and together they were able to help me understand the complexities of the laws relating to my case. Navigating through such a difficult time was made much easier by having John in my corner. The right result was achieved and I would whole heartedly recommend Forbes to anyone in the position of having to contest a Will.

Disgrace of a firm, these solicitors where chosen to act on behalf of together housing association in regards to selling my share of my shared ownership property, essentially just the middle man from my buyers solicitors and my solicitor. Whole process took 5 months because response times where nothing short of a disgrace. Case handler Claire wouldn’t speak to me because I wasn’t the client even tho I was having to pay the final bill so surely I am the client? So after 5 months of very poor service they then had the cheek to send me a bill of £2775 and my buyer a bill of around £700!! For doing literally nothing! They were just the middle man!! I paid my other 2 solicitors just over that total amount combined who had to do all the usual conveyancing bits and pieces. I had to ask my solicitor to double check that Claire hadn’t fell onto a calculator and just thought “that’ll do” £2775!!? Wow When challenged on the amount the response was a snapshot of some small print in my shared ownership lease stating a charge of up to 1.5% or some croc and bull, so basically they charged that because they can. So thanks for robbing me blind and thanks again for a terrible service. Stay well clear of Forbes

Where do I start from being to end incompetent told witness statement wasn't inprotent by a teenager collage girl working there very little confidence in my barrister changing statements without in informing me ..on day off trial no evidence prosecution approach my barrister asking if id take a less charge...wow must think I was guilty of a crime..I'm 100% they are in bed with the prosecution STAY CLEAR OF THIS SOLICITORS IF YOU NOT WILL GO TO PRISON
