Darren took on a job which turned out to be very difficult with families falling out over money resulting in protracted periods of silences and then litigation. It has been a very stressful time for the Trustees, but at all times Darren was the voice of reason, professionalism and calmness. The matter has now concluded and personally I am so grateful for Darren's help and assistance throughout resulting in a very reasonable outcome for the family he was acting for. Thank you

After a double bereavement last year, Jayne Parsons and Eva Ng have dealt with my probate on two estates, and on this recent occasion Eva has written up and completed my first Will. Each visit has been friendly, personable and reassuring with excellent professionalism. Eva guided me through the process of drafting the will online and then guided me through in person, working efficiently to turn this around, as I was on a tight time line due to living overseas. She carefully explained the Will and any financial consequences, related to my inheritances and asked me to double check my wishes.

Absolutely shocking service as a beneficiary. Zero contact effort on their part throughout 6 months or so now - for such a simple execution of administering the estate - still waiting to hear back now! Not a single drop of comminication - even if something is pending from a 3rd party - an email takes 2 seconds confirming where things are at - Absolute joke. To kick it all off - when I took time out to go to the office and confirm my ID - they couldn't even photocopy my passport right and I then had to email a photo in. What law firm can't simply photocopy something correctly?! The person who's "handling our case" i'm sure is called Jane (she's never bothered speaking to me - i'm getting second hand information from my family member constantly calling in for updates) is always on holiday so you'll never get clear updates from her or her colleague Eva Ng - always vague. They also completely got family details incorrect and we've spent a lot of time fixing that for them. They charge a lot of money for doing nothing (apart from going on holiday it seems!!) AVOID this firm, they will make a sensitive situation even more stressful!
Fishers appreciate that this is an important and sensitive matter after losing a loved one, but under the terms of our engagement as a SRA regulated firm of Solicitors, our client is the Executor of an estate. This means that we are obliged to provide regular updates directly to them, rather than to individual beneficiaries. An Executor can of course share relevant progress information with you as they see appropriate.
Terrible service received as a beneficiary, communication was poor and when they did finally email back, it was riddled with mistakes and laughable errors from Darren Perry, won't take calls, as others have noted, receptionist always says they are busy. Surprised they have clients ! Extortionate prices ....avoid at all costs. There are better solicitors out there.

Fishers were excellent supporting us through a long and difficult sale process, were reassuring and knowledgeable. Slight frustration due to availability and close proximity deadlines in our lead Conveyancer's absence, but resolved in time. Great job, thankyou.

We have used Fishers to sell our business property two years ago and the service was exemplary. This was a different line of business regarding land, and required a rapid response. We made the call, and two hours later we were at their office once again conducting business on this occasion with Stephanie Sampson. Stephanie was reassuring, factual, thorough and immediate. Impressed, seems too lighter an evaluation of her work. Please bear in mind we are not local to Fishers and travel for their excellent service. Stephanie is an asset to Fishers, and Fishers will always represent us in our hours of need.

We received excellent service and support from our solicitor Arlie and her team throughout the purchase of our new home and the sale of our old property. Too slow. Not expeditiously expediting probate. Absolutely shocking service as a beneficiary.
Fishers appreciates that this is a difficult and sensitive time following the loss of a loved one. However, under the terms of our engagement as an SRA-regulated firm of solicitors, our client is the Executor of the estate. This means that we must provide updates and correspond directly with the Executor, rather than with individual beneficiaries. The Executor may, of course, share information about the progress of the estate administration with beneficiaries as they deem appropriate.
Shocking customer service. Tried to contact them 3 times, 3 different ways, promised a call back but radio silence. They must have so much business they don’t need new customers?
