Prey on the vulnerable
I signed up after seeing either a Facebook advert or receiving a cold text about PCP/car finance compensation. At the time, I was going through an extremely stressful period in my life involving divorce, housing uncertainty, financial problems, menopause and ongoing personal difficulties. I believed I was only making an initial enquiry for information. I tried to cancel almost immediately afterwards but struggled to even find out who I had signed up with, as I had no clear confirmation initially. I later decided to pursue the finance complaint myself directly with the finance company, only to be told another company was already acting on my behalf. I have requested cancellation several times by phone and email, but I continue to receive correspondence and the matter still does not appear to have been closed. The whole experience has caused unnecessary stress and delays at a time when I was already overwhelmed. I personally felt the process was unclear and difficult to stop once signed up. Their communication is slow to non-existent waiting weeks to reply for an email. Please just stop.
