The staff we dealt with were all very polite and personable. We were disappointed that there were obvious errors in the first draft. There was a long delay after that and by the time it came to signing the wills Chris was seriously ill and was in fact admitted to hospital as an emergency a few days later, 3 months after our first meeting with Adam. The whole process has taken over 3 Months. Thankfully Chris is making a speedy recovery thanks to the amazing NHS and the pacemaker they fitted so promptly and efficiently.

Lauren dealt with all aspects of my father's estate recently and from start to finish i couldn't be happier! Probate wasn't quite as straight forward as it should have been but Lauren made it look easy! Having never dealt with legalities after the passing of a relative before I was somewhat naive and bemused by it all! Lauren really made everything as simple as possible throughout the whole process, her communication was always prompt, her explanations detailed but 'idiot' proof! Hopefully I won't require Lauren's services again for a while, but when I do i now know she'll make the whole process as easy as possible to deal with 😊

I asked Amicus Law if they would guide me in performing my duties as executor of my late husband’s will and carry out all the associated legal procedures. I was lucky enough to be allocated the team of Solicitor Iram Ramzan and Legal Assistant Sophie Snape. Both of them worked hard to turn things around in record time – taking less than half the time initially predicted and within budget. All contacts with me were swift, polite and answered my questions. Because I was not able to attend the Weymouth office personally, they went out of their way to visit me at home when necessary or conducted on-line meetings via laptop. Both always inquired after my health when communicating by e-mail or telephone. Iram imparted judgement based on obvious experience and competence and Sophie, although still learning, brought youthful confidence and friendliness as well as knowledge. She deserves to advance in her career and I hope she will continue her studies in the legal profession. Working with them both was a very positive experience at a difficult personal time. In the same timescale they additionally managed to produce some other legal certification I requested, without complaint or fuss. I would not hesitate to recommend working with Iram and Sophie at Amicus to achieve any family law legal requirements.

I have used Nigel Mills 3 times now over the last 7 years or so, all my family use him too for their property purchases, Nigel is the go to Conveyancer in my family! I am always extremely happy with the service Nigel provides, he’s attention to detail and personable approach to the buying and selling process. Nigel has been able to get two purchases through very quickly for me the last few years, he is aware I battle with a disability which makes my need for a suitable home paramount, needing a smooth transition between sale and purchase. Which he has always made sure to make happen which really has made my life considerably better, I’m now in my forever home which meets all my health requirements and in an accessible location. We used Amicus Law to sort out my dear friends grant of probate. I attended the Martock office and was looked after by Zara. We were given a clear breakdown of costs and time frame. Zara dealt with us sensitively at a very difficult time. Communication was great and she took a huge burden off of us. I want to thank Shona and Adam so much for all they have done for my mum and stepdad over the past couple of days! After being left very much out of pocket with a botched will by a different practice and my mum’s recent terminal diagnosis, they needed a will that worked as they wanted it to. Adam and Shona not only expedited the will, they were kind, warm, considerate and more importantly they made sure my mum and my Stepdad were listened to and they understood everything that was going on. Needed a form to be witnessed quickly. My wife called Amicus and the lady on reception couldn’t have been nicer. They would have done it straight away, but the traffic was just too bad to get there quick enough. They saw us the next day and we got the form witnessed and signed. The solicitor couldn’t have been more friendly. I only wish I’d found them before I appointed my solicitor for conveying. Thank you Amicus great service Oh yes one more thing, they only charged £5
