Nicola Robertson of Thorntons was excellent throughout. Our flat went on the market at a difficult time — late November and just before the government budget. She gave us a honest appraisal and marketed the property so that the first person to view put in a an acceptable offer and bought the property! The team at Thorntons was friendly and approachable, and everything has gone smoothly. Because we are at a distance, they conducted the viewings, and we quickly received an offer for our property. At time of writing we are still in the process of completion, but we’ve been kept well informed throughout the process and have been pleased with the level of attention received. Costs seem to be in line with other agents, and price achieved was decent.

Excellent service after the death of my husband. Patient and understanding at a time when I was fragile. Have gone back to update my will and power of attorney. Again patient and very good at explaining the options available to me.

I visited Thoran Property on Saturday and was advised that Thoran Solicitors would help me on Monday with witness signatures for my affidavit. However, when I went to Thoran Solicitors, the receptionist informed me that they only provide witness signatures for their own clients. This caused me to waste my time and effort. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Thoran Property or Thoran Solicitors to anyone who is not already their client, especially for services like witnessing affidavit signatures.
