A subsequent partnership with Mark Fairweather from Leiston gave rise to the firm of Fairweather Stephenson & Co which the current Managing Director, Patrick Cooney, joined in 1995. The practice has operated from its premises in Hamilton Road, Felixstowe for many years and continues to increase its client base under the new name of Fairstep Solicitors. We undertake many different areas of legal work, which can be found on our services page, together with particulars of our hardworking team. I was recommended by my mortgage advisor to use fairstep solicitor Limited is they are very good and he highly recommended them. They were so good and kept you informed of all the process that was happening. I want to also thank you Gemma who she was looking after my account and she was very helpful and very professional at her work. They are very reasonable and I’ll always recommend and I’ll always use them again as they are very professional very polite clear communication and when everything was going through my final payment, they rang me just to make sure that if I have received the balance of the money that they needed to transfer. My late husband was a client of many years and since his passing this legal firm has given me peace and security.
I had a very positive experience with the team throughout my first house purchase journey. I worked with them on two separate matters, and on both occasions they were professional, supportive, and helpful. The first purchase unfortunately did not proceed due to an issue with the documents, but they provided excellent advice and guidance throughout the process, which I truly appreciated. Because of that experience, I chose to work with them again for my second house purchase, and the process went smoothly overall. Towards the end, things became a little slower than I expected, and I had to follow up on some steps many times. However, I understand that the final stages of a property purchase can sometimes be like this. Overall, I am very happy with their service and support. They were reliable, professional, and helped make the process much easier. I would happily recommend them and give them full stars.
