My experience of Barker Gotelee has been a fantastic one. I was recommended Nick Palmer by my niece who had previously worked with him and sung his praises. I built up trust with Nick very quickly and his advice, support and steadfast approach has seen me through one of the most difficult experiences I've had in life. His approach is to pragmatically think things through, take out the emotion which is difficult to do when you are in the midst of an emotional time and then act accordingly to ensure the best by his clients. I cannot thank Nick enough and have no hesitation in telling everyone that I use Barker Gotelee. I also used their conveyancing team to sell my Mum and Dad's house and found Laura and Hayley to be very thorough and professional and I would again highly recommend them. I first turned up by recommendation from an old colleague who had dealings with this firm. I met Amanda Erskine (then crowe) and she took me through the procedure. That was almost 4 years ago. During a divorce that has been difficult in the extreme she has been professional sympathetic and provided sound advice on the way forward. Amanda also took time to research a very able QC who whilst quite quirky was an excellent fit with me. Throughout Amanda has been superb as have her assistants who are always up to speed and one of the practice partners Nicola Furmston who has also been outstanding. Anyone would go a long way to find people this good. I am retired now but was Customer Services Director in RSA and a founder member of MORE TH>N.I would have used them . I totally disagree the service they provided was insensitive and very unprofessional and to be honest didn't resolve anything. I have been involved with a legal practice for about 13 years and never been treated like this as someone who is already in a fragile and distressful situation I would give 0 stars if i could.
