I feel very fortunate to have found Goodlaw Solicitors to help with a Medical Negligence case. From the moment I spoke to James King he was warm, friendly and approachable making me feel instantly at ease. I would like to say a very be thank you to Goodlaw Solicitors . Having first dealt will Tesjasvi then later passing over to Jasmine for my father’s medical claim has been excellent. I was always well informed when needed to and just a email away from any questions if I ever needed reassurance or confirmation to our ongoing case . I have to admit this was hardly used due to both Members of the teams being very proactive. Although my father’s case went beyond the time limit and not due to the company I never felt forgotten. I would definitely recommend Goodlaw Solicitors to anyone who seeks professional help with a personal touch

We worked with George and the team for both the sale of our old house and the purchase of our new one, and cannot recommend him highly enough. Partway through, our original buyer pulled out, but George kept things moving and a new buyer was found without the case losing momentum. Then, right at the last minute, we discovered the house we were buying had unresolved issues with its solar panels that would not be fixed until after completion. This could easily have caused the whole chain to collapse, but George worked quickly to find a solution that let us stick to our original timescale and kept everyone on side. Throughout, he was calm, proactive, and clearly experienced in handling the sort of last-minute problems that can derail a house move. We always felt he was on top of things and looking out for our interests. If you want a solicitor who can keep a transaction on track even when things go wrong, George is exactly who you need.

We would highly recommend Goodlaw, and especially George, to anyone looking for a hard-working, professional and highly proactive & efficient conveyancer. We have used Goodlaw now for many years and for varying services, including former house sale and purchases; we have always been impressed. This was our most efficient transaction to date though, which considering how volatile and frustrating a chain we were part of, really does speak volumes. If only the other conveyancers in the chain had been like George. We cannot rate him highly enough for the speed of his communication, his professionalism and proactivity. In a market where sadly pace is often lacking, this was absolutely not the case here. We would strongly advocate for both the firm and George - a conveyancer who really does get the job done.

I've been meaning to write this review for a while. George Coomber acted on our behalf earlier this year for our house sale and purchase. What a great service he provided! Very efficient and thorough, replied to emails very quickly - sometimes out of hours when I wasn't expecting a reply so soon. If he had a busy completion day coming up he would let us know he would answer as soon as he could. He thoroughly explained any queries we had and made the whole process run smoothly. We were recommended George by our estate agent and I have since recommended him to our daughter and son-in-law who have also just completed on their house purchase. I would highly recommend if you want a solicitor who is easy to deal with and gets things done!

Just completed on our first house! We honestly couldn’t recommend Janek and his team highly enough. He came recommended to us by Charlotte at Your Mortgage Room, and from the very start they were incredibly responsive, knowledgeable and friendly throughout the whole process. Buying a house is supposed to be one of the most stressful things you can do, but Janek and his team made everything feel manageable and kept us sane through some quite stressful moments in the chain. I honestly do not think words will ever fully express how grateful I am to GoodLaw Solicitors, especially Katherine, but also Isaac and Emma, for the support they have given me over the last 5–6 years. Family proceedings are not just “legal cases.” They affect every part of your life emotionally, mentally and financially.
