We would highly recommend Goodlaw, and especially George, to anyone looking for a hard-working, professional and highly proactive & efficient conveyancer. We have used Goodlaw now for many years and for varying services, including former house sale and purchases; we have always been impressed. This was our most efficient transaction to date though, which considering how volatile and frustrating a chain we were part of, really does speak volumes. If only the other conveyancers in the chain had been like George. We cannot rate him highly enough for the speed of his communication, his professionalism and proactivity. In a market where sadly pace is often lacking, this was absolutely not the case here. We would strongly advocate for both the firm and George - a conveyancer who really does get the job done.

I cannot recommend George and his team enough if you are purchasing and/or selling a house. I have always had horror stories of terrible solicitors and I was so worried about choosing one. George and his team were incredible! They respond so quickly, answer all the questions you have, are patient with explaining the process. We couldn't have had a better experience of selling and buying our property, even with quite a complicated chain. A huge thanks to the team!

Thank you to Millie, Ellie, Kirsty and Rachel, who were helpful and professional throughout. They kept us informed, answered our questions and helped guide us through what can often be a complex and stressful process. The team worked hard to keep everything moving and were willing to explain things when we needed clarification. Although it was sometimes difficult to get through to the team by phone, we received helpful and detailed responses via email, which was reassuring and kept everything progressing. I've been meaning to write this review for a while. George Coomber acted on our behalf earlier this year for our house sale and purchase. What a great service he provided! Very efficient and thorough, replied to emails very quickly - sometimes out of hours when I wasn't expecting a reply so soon. If he had a busy completion day coming up he would let us know he would answer as soon as he could. He thoroughly explained any queries we had and made the whole process run smoothly. We were recommended George by our estate agent and I have since recommended him to our daughter and son-in-law who have also just completed on their house purchase. I would highly recommend if you want a solicitor who is easy to deal with and gets things done!

Just completed on our first house! We honestly couldn’t recommend Janek and his team highly enough. He came recommended to us by Charlotte at Your Mortgage Room, and from the very start they were incredibly responsive, knowledgeable and friendly throughout the whole process. Buying a house is supposed to be one of the most stressful things you can do, but Janek and his team made everything feel manageable and kept us sane through some quite stressful moments in the chain. Communication was excellent throughout, everything was explained clearly, and we always felt like things were in safe hands. I recently used GoodLaw for my first property purchase. George was brilliant - extremely quick to respond throughout the process and did a large amount of chasing of the sellers solicitors. He was well informed and guided me with a tricky purchase of who to talk to when and what I needed to push the estate agents for. I would highly recommend George to any first time buyers!

Kirsty, Ellie, and Milly were absolutely exceptional. As a first-time buyer I was fairly panicked about the whole process, and had heard the usual nightmare solicitor tales i.e. "make sure you call them and harass every day" but there was no absolutely no need for that. They were super quick to respond by email whenever I had a question, and worked completely harassment free making the entire process much smoother. Strong recommend, and will definitely use GoodLaw again once I decide to move. I mostly dealt with Ellie who I'd like to particularly call out as having been excellent in communication but as mentioned, all were amazing.
