I selected Downs Law to manage the sale of my company. It was clear from the initial consultation that Downs law has a very competent team of experts. Richard and his colleagues were excellent every step of the way - providing clear advice, being readily available when questions arose, and being extremely diligent in their duties. Couldn't ask for more.

Rebecca managed my interests in a share sale / restructuring transaction to facilitate my partial exit from a limited company. This was a fairly complex transaction involving setting up a new holding company, the transfer of shares, the sale of shares and new service agreements for the directors. To be honest I wasn't looking forward to working through the legal process to make this transaction happen but Rebecca (and the team at Forbes) made it seem easy. I can honestly say it was a pleasure to work with them and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I have been in the property business for over 30 years, and I have used various solicitor firms from London to Edinburgh. However I have never come across such professional, helpful, and efficient solicitors such as Anna and Elinor. They provided me with a wonderful service and were caring towards my needs. They re-wrote the articles of my company and went over and beyond to sort my issues out. They also did a PG certificate. These 2 ladies are the jewel in the crown of your firm and I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. If I was looking at employing solicitors myself, I wouldn't hesitate in giving these 2 ladies a job.

James and his team were very good and got my flat purchase done pretty quickly, only complaint really is as some of my deposit was a gift they wanted the gifters life story as well as a fee to process this, despite this already all being approved by my mortage provider. Other than this they were very good and responded to most queries I had within an hour or so and much better than other solicitors than my friends had used.

This was our third time with Sweeney Miller and again we found them incredibly helpful, this time with our flat purchase. David, Mel, Madison and team were all informative, diligent, persistent and professional throughout, despite the seller’s solicitor being less than helpful at times.
