Initial instructions were taken and quickly passed onto Claire Collinge who telephoned me to advise on my impending redundancy. There were very tight deadlines to meet in dealing with the situation and Claire prioritised my matter to ensure these were met. I received prompt, comprehensive, and considered advice which was both technically legally detailed but in an understandable form. The advice was not just technical but sensible and pragmatic. Agreement was reached with my employer and Claire reviewed the proposed agreement, made suggested amendments which would be to my benefit and successfully negotiated these important terms in the proposed agreement. Claire was quick and efficient throughout (the whole matter was dealt with from inception to conclusion in the space of one working week, pretty exceptional I think, when all was not even agreed at the outset). Claire picked up and understood the situation very thoroughly with little difficulty. Her advice was clear and concise and it was evident that she had given the matter full consideration before advising me on how to progress. Her contact with me was friendly and she took on board my thoughts, views and aims at every point of the matter. Overall I was extremely impressed by the way Claire handled the matter and unreservedly recommend anyone with an employment issue to use Claire’s services

I wanted to commend Wace Morgan and Mr Kier Hurst in providing me advice on an MoD pensions issue, I had requested support through the Forces Law website. Both James Woolam and Kier provided me with the advice required to progress the complaint with MoD/Defence Business Services concerning the McCloud remedy and I am very greatful for the time they took to both explore the case and options/approaches to the Tribunal complaint.

Where to start? What to divulge? Jamie came into my life at my lowest ebb. My 21 year career, my wife and children, my home, my wife's vocation and our foster children were all hanging by a thread. He never put me down for any decisions I made that may not have aligned with his thinking. I don't want to rabbit on but do want to point out that the courts decision being in my favour only has a very slight impact on my gushing praise of Jamie. To sum up, I those dark times you want someone that knows what they are doing, are organised, timely, communicative and compassionate. It's a tick box on all counts for Mr Simner.... a professional gentleman.
