A prospective entrepreneur visa covers non‑UK nationals who intend to establish or take over a business in the UK and meet the Home Office criteria. A solicitor helps by assessing eligibility, helping prepare a robust business plan, gathering financial evidence, and ensuring English language and maintenance requirements are met. They draft, review and submit the visa application to UK Visas and Immigration, compile supporting documents, and respond to Home Office requests, guiding the client through timelines and compliance obligations.

Where a solicitor protects your position

The decision hinges on meeting strict criteria about funds, intention to create or run a business, and credible evidence of the plan’s viability. If the requirements aren’t met, the application may be refused, or future applications could be affected. A solicitor’s role is to safeguard the client’s position by ensuring the application addresses the Home Office’s criteria and by managing procedural steps and deadlines within the Immigration Rules.
