Tribunal Procedure covers the steps lawyers take to pursue or defend claims in a range of specialist tribunals, where decisions are typically made by a panel rather than a court. A solicitor handles pre‑hearing work, argues or presents evidence at hearings, and drafts statements of case, applications, and bundle materials. They also advise on jurisdiction, admissibility, and how legislative schemes apply to the client’s position in areas like employment, social security, immigration, and housing.
“I have used Poole Alcock on several different legal matters and no matter what the issue they have always been friendly, knowledgable and extremely professional.”

“Mason did an excellent job preparing the legal documents for a Section 21 claim that turned into a long, drawn-out process due to the tenant. Throughout, he remained thorough, organised, and proactive, ensuring every document was accurate and submitted on time. His attention to detail and clear understanding of the legal requirements made a stressful situation much easier to manage.
His communication was clear at every stage, and he was always quick to respond to queries. Mason also attended court with me, and having him there alongside the barrister was extremely beneficial in helping me understand what was happening on the day and what the next steps would be.
Overall, Mason’s professionalism and commitment were outstanding, and his work significantly contributed to the successful outcome of this case. I would highly recommend his support to anyone dealing with a similar matter.”

“That devastating moment arrived when my family needed legal representation. We had no idea where to go or who to turn to. We started researching and making a few calls. We are so pleased that this led us to Richard Nelson Solicitors. From the very first telephone conversation with Jacqui Callan the decision was made. Her empathy, Knowledge, calmness and support was evident from the outset.
Jacqui, Shannon Keenan (legal assistant) and Mr Phil Gibbs (our Barrister) maintained regular contact with us in the following months, proactively ensuring we were all fully aware of what was happening. Always available despite heavy workloads, always reassuring, always professional.
During the court proceedings (the worst 10 days of our lives) Phil, Jacqui & Shannon were ever-present marinating a calm, competent and personable approach. They all took time to explain every element of the proceedings in an honest and methodical manner ensuring that despite our obvious stress we understood everything. Their approach assisted us with the emotions of the situation.
Mr Gibbs impressively articulated our case signifying his knowledge of the facts, his cross-examination was firm but fair, demonstrating again his empathy and understanding of the situation for both parties involved.
Truth and justice prevailed when the verdict was announced and we were successful.
The whole team lived, ate and slept our case with us. I cannot explain in words how grateful we are to them all. We owe them everything.
If you are reading this, as I did other reviews because you are lost and do not know where to turn for legal advice, I would without hesitation recommend this firm.”

“I have been fighting a case for three years and from day one I met Michael you could sense he genuinely cares for you as an individual not just a ‘client’. He always kept me updated and checked regularly on my mental well-being. Honestly feel like I have gained a friend, I was facing quite a challenging situation however the Cartwright team rose to the occasion TWICE and done a fantastic job in the courts. I’m very convinced if anyone else had handled this case I wouldn’t have my freedom writing this now. His team were experienced in variety of situations and fought rigorously to get the best outcome in the interest of their client. Words simply couldn’t show my complete appreciation of the Cartwright team ! ”
“This was my second house purchase via Rees Page , the first was 2012 & was happy to return however whilst ultimately it’s a positive review it was not as positive as 2012 which could be due to covid restrictions.
Rees Page did not seem a company set up for remote working which I think staff were doing so there was a lot of documents posted & returned which I felt could have been electronic as they had been with my house sale with another company. Most communication was by post /email with occasional telephone call with the person handling my case. I think this caused delays in the process.
My area of concern is with the reception staff who I always found abrupt on the phone & when I attended in person with documents they presented as afraid to open the door -this would be due to covid however if I didn’t hand collect & deliver documents the sale would not have completed on the time which I felt the receptionist shrugged at at they had intended to post final documents 3 days before exchange & completion.
My sale took the average amount of time of 3 months & on reflection I can acknowledge it was a good job at a good price but if you want frontline staff who care about your house purchase I would choose another firm.
My purchase was from Oct 2020-Jan 2021”
