This area covers how individuals pay the tax they owe to HM Revenue & Customs, including income tax, capital gains, self‑assessment payments, and any late or disputed bills. A solicitor in this field helps you understand deadlines, penalties and available remedies, and they handle the process of arranging payments or disputes with HMRC. They may also advise on reliefs, interest charges, and how to keep records to avoid repeats of issues in the future.
The consequence of failing to meet tax deadlines can be penalties, interest and demands that escalate quickly. A solicitor can help negotiate payment arrangements with HMRC (such as Time to Pay), challenge penalties where appropriate, prepare disclosures or clarifications, and liaise on notices and investigations to protect your position.
You searched for Tax Payments specialists. Here are related areas of law to help you narrow down your results.

Harris Cuffaro & Nichols were great! They were recommended to me by Rutland Financial Ltd. Emma Marchant & her team were very professional. We had a bumpy road but they were clear and explained everything we needed to know or did not fully understand with continuous direct communication. I would definitely use Harris Cuffaro & Nichols again if need be. Also saved me 2.5k on stamp duty with their fantastic advice!

Tagged solicitor Katrina Greenwell
Following changes to IHT legislation, I consulted Katrina on the best way to deal with a property I have owned for over 25 years. It has never been let or used commercially and is, in effect a "second home". It is abroad. Katrina quickly sorted out the best solution, including putting it into joint names with my wife first, to avoid any "advance IHT" charges that might have arisen . At a quoted fee estimate at the outset, everything was completed in a most efficient manner. I would wholeheartedly recommend Katrina to anyone.
