I contacted DMH Stallard and was offered a free thirty minute initial consultation regarding a complex probate matter involving the interpretation of a will and a family dispute. From the outset, Eleanor was approachable, compassionate and extremely professional. Rather than giving a quick opinion, she carefully considered the documents I had provided and even discussed the matter with a colleague before coming back to me. Although the advice was not what I had hoped to hear, I greatly appreciated the honesty and integrity of her assessment. It gave me confidence that every aspect of my case had been properly considered before she advised that there was no realistic legal remedy available. Throughout the consultation I never felt rushed, and Eleanor explained the legal position clearly and sensitively. I left the meeting with a much better understanding of my situation and the options available to me. I would have no hesitation in recommending DMH Stallard to anyone seeking honest, professional and thoughtful legal advice.

I cannot seem to obtain a copy of a will from my family entrusted with this firm. Have had incredibly little communication, passed phone to phone, I have been told on email I am in communication with correct person, but a whole month has passed and still to no avail. They are unable to keep communication regular, let alone pass a copy of the will? Cannot understand why it’s so incredibly hard to provide the paperwork or at the very least demonstrate an effort of trying and updates if needed. Fed up of chasing. Likely would have used this firm to manage the affairs once said will was presented, but absolutely not now as if this is how they operate I don’t want more of it.

Solicitors scare me; they usually use terminology I don't understand and they can be very expensive. However, I had to use them because I was being denied money from my ex through a house sale and they helped me through the process of getting a fair financial consent order. I did gather quotes from other solicitors and although they weren't the cheapest, they were very fair! They took into account my low wage and the fact I had no savings. They tried to keep it as low cost as possible. What got me interested in using DMH Stallard was Rachael. She met with me on a teams call and I found her very personable. I was never made to feel like an idiot, she answered all my questions honestly and Rachael and her team were always contactable. They fought in my corner, gave me so much advise and explained anything I quired clearly. I highly recommend.

Our experience with this firm when it was Griffith Smith was not very pleasant. We felt they did not respect our points of view, or barely listened to them, & the plethora of mistakes they made we were obliged to pay for. They also disregarded what was written in our statement, putting their own spin on it, & making it seem as if we were to blame. It took years for the company to resolve our issue & then they presented us with a huge bill. Not impressed.
