I instructed Nadine Stevenson at Goughs Solicitors to act on my residential purchase transaction in 2026 and was really impressed with her, and her team. Having owned more modern properties in the past, this was my first time purchasing an older property which is also in a Conservation Area, so I felt it was important to instruct someone with expertise in this area. Nadine did not disappoint. Throughout the process I felt like I was in good hands, and she was so quick with all of her reporting, too. I could always get through to her quickly over the phone and via email, which is half the battle when you're buying and selling property. We’ve just bought and sold our home. Louis was our solicitor and I can say with some certainty that we’d have lost our dream family home if it wasn’t for him. He worked so hard for us, gave good advice, replied to emails and calls immediately - many many other solicitors don’t (our buyers and sellers solicitors certainly were not as reliable). Rhianna has been absolutely fantastic dealing with an array of issues surrounding child matters and divorce. She’s be professional whilst being so kind and supportive, whilst keeping my expectations realistic. I have never felt alone going through lengthy court hearings and a never ending saga . If I had to go through this again (which I sincerely hope I won’t be!) l would go back to her in a heartbeat. I only popped in for a quick declaration signing with Andrew and he was an absolute joy - explained the whole process well and helped me not find legal stuff stressful for once! I'll definitely be coming back if I ever need stuff sorted well and in a way I can understand :)
