I am in the process of selling seven properties and was pleasantly surprised and impressed with Star Legal Thornbury after poor experiences with previous law firms. The Head of the Office, Sara Part and her colleagues whom I dealt with, Laura, Anna-Marie, Elizabeth and Caroline were all professional and easy to deal with. Some of the other solicitors whom Star Legal had the misfortune to deal with were incompetent time wasters, Luckily Sara and co were flexible and professional and handled these amateurs with aplomb. If you are buying or selling a property and tempted to use a low cost online outfit to save money then please do your self a favour and hire Sara and Star Legal instead!

We used Star Legal to draft our wills and LPA. The experience was fine and the process was handled smoothly. Most of the fees are fixed but we found it a little on the expensive side. Overall, solid and professional service.

I can’t recommend star legal Tiverton enough! Richard and Helle were amazing to deal with throughout the process of our new house purchase. This was not a normal house purchase with lots of time on our hands, this was an auction purchase with an extremely tight turn around time (with non negotiable completion date) at a very busy period for the property market (June 2021). Richard and Helle kept us updated throughout and took away the stresses, going above and beyond to ensure we completed on time to meet our auction terms. Richard is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything clearly, he was able to keep our confidence throughout the process, despite some hurdles along the way out of his control!
