I worked on a case with Paul Tapner when my husband died in a RTA. He was so helpful and very professional I would recommend him to anyone. It not an easy subject to deal with but he did so in a very kind and sensitive way.

Worst experience of my life, they really do not care about the client but more the interest of both parties involved. DO NOT TRUST THIS FIRM you will be devastated by the results.

I found these lawyers to be absolutely fantastic. The lawyer in Wills and Probates ..who dealt with my case. STO7610/1/RGB RACHEL GOODING was excellent and sympathetic to my needs, she dealt with all aspects of obtaining a grant application and in no time at all sent me copies of ..Letters of Administration for my recently demised husband. At a very sad time she was not only excellent in her job but treated everything sympathetically. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rachel to anyone in need of Wills and Probate services.

Totally agree with the comments of Jenny (Aug 12) and John (Aug 8). Also, I would only give ZERO stars and not the minimum of 1 star. My review is a ZERO star review. Absolutely useless Conveyancing service! A 10 year old child could do a better job! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, especially if, like me, you are using them as Conveyancers for Selling your own property and Buying another property. They don't return your calls and take forever to answer emails, never fully with the questions you want answered. They are never open and honest and consistently want to pull the wool over your eyes. They don't value Clients and are the most UNPROFESSIONAL people I have ever dealt with in over 30 years . Especially, DON'T USE MATTHEW HOWARD or GAYNOR MCCORMICK - USELESS! Gaynor has a non-existent email address and no-one wants to give out her proper email address. I've escalated and registered numerous official complaints to Slater and Gordon, via their non-helpful 'Helpdesk', and been advised that a Senior Manager will be calling me within 72 hours. I'm still awaiting a call after 2 weeks! I've also logged a complaint with the Legal Ombudsman and will be taking all my matters further. It has got so bad , that there is a strong chance my House Moving Chain will COLLAPSE, due to mainly one person's incompetence, MATTHEW HOWARD - he doesn't care, he is totally incompetent, hasn't got a clue about providing a service to clients, and never answers your questions. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING SLATER & GORDON SAY. I left the same review , 6 days ago, on Google Reviews and Charlie Medworth (S&G Customer Analyst) advised me that someone would be contacting me ASAP. No-one from S&G has made any effort to contact me in the last 6 days, or anytime in the last 5 months. Also, the incompetent Matthew Howard (Conveyancer) has , at my request , been replaced, but the level of Service is still just as bad. I will be sending an email to the CEO , David Whitmore, letting him know of the appalling level of service. DO NOT USE SLATER AND GORDON. I have left a similar review on Google reviews and Trustpilot and will also be leaving a review (ZERO stars equivalent) on any other Review websites.

Fantastic service from Rachel Gooding. Helped in resolution of complex probate issues and granting of LPA's for elderly relative. Rachel was very responsive and always professional and helpful. Would definitely recommend

Very good experience in a telephone consultation with solicitor Andrew Allan - excellent advice, highly professional, delivered with efficiency and kindness. Frustrating experience with admin. They rescheduled the session twice. The second rescheduling was for two weeks later, which would have made it useless. Said second rescheduling turned out to be an admin error, as the solicitor hadn’t heard of it; so he called me at the previously agreed time, when I didn’t expect his call and wasn’t ready. Admin person not bothered to read emails to the end, so her replies didn’t answer my questions.

Rachael Gooding has been supporting my family for some time with issues linked to our late father's will. Throughout this process she has been highly efficient and professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. This week an external development required an urgent change to a trust, and Rachael has again been hugely helpful and responsive (and very patient with my many questions), completing the work incredibly quickly. We're very impressed and very grateful. Highly recommended!

Slightly nervous as this was first time making a claim, however we did not need to be nervous as we were guided through the process step by step. Very professional and informative, a real pleasure to do business with. Highly recommend!
