satisfactory. But these surveys in my view are non-productive. Its not like weare comparing food or similar. I've only bought and sold 4 properties over a period of 60 years estate agents, solicitors, means of communication, land and property laws have all changed in that time how can I objectively measure the performance - me a mere layman! I'm not capable. I didn't need to deal with any solicitor but I thought Toni Dack was very capable. I think ideally I would have chosen a firm near to home but assume there are all much the same. I could rabbit on in the same vein. My view is the PR people have persuaded a lot of otherwise sensible folk into taking on these exercises which achieve very little tangible benefit while they laugh all the way to the bank! The King.s new clothes comes to mind.

I would not recommend this firm to anyone. The service I received was quite frankly appalling. They are very expensive to start with, and were not open and honest about their fees. They caused me a whole deal of stress through their lack of communication, care and consideration. Only communicating through email, but never responded to any questions I would reply with. They only called me three times, each of those was for a payment, otherwise I had to chase them at every opportunity for any sort of update/response. Their staff are half-witted, belligerent and lack the basic understanding required to do their job. I was lied to. They tried to imply the fault lay with the other solicitors. It was only when I read the email trail between TBI law and the vendors, provided by my estate agent, did I discover where the actual problem was. It was clear TBI had been at fault. They were adamant they had called me, informing of the delay. When I asked for proof, they later came back and explained there had been an 'error' when dialling my number and a message was left on someone else's phone. GDPR breach. I was utterly disgusted by the way I was treated. I raised the issue with the appropriate manager, and received no way of an apology or acknowledgement of their failing. I did contact Nigel Broadbent, who has not even acknowledged my email. I would not recommend this company.

Incapable and irresponsible! I regret trusting the advice to appoint them. My file for a simple conveyancing procedure has been pushed from person to person with no serious duty of care and multiple failed results back to back. Dont waste your time and appoint a firm who actually takes things seriously and know what they are doing...

I had a few issues selling my house but my solicitors jasmine and megan where so professional and had so much patience….. would recommend this practice all time….. Thank you very much

Disgraceful service, I imagine because I was on legal aid, but been told to F off is not acceptable. I wouldn’t go with any of these so called professionals, I just thank the lord I recorded everything including conversations, talk about starting on the back foot, they want you on your knees. So much conflict of interest, it’s unacceptable. They think they’re untouchable and can’t be held accountable. They will be.

I will certainly avoid. Poor communication, really slow in working and responding. Poor management of documents I sent. Do not respond to inquiries. Sent inquiry on Jan 4 and got response on Jan12 from TBI " I will come back to you shortly." Then no response again until Jan 25 when I sent a reminder again. They have not made it clear what is left in conveyancing process. Last week when we called, we were told the relevant staff is on leave and will look into it on return. I feel it is unfair if a staff is away and our work is left pending. The carelessness I received from them is delaying the work. Their negligence is costing me:(. I am unable to recover the loss.Unprofessional and unorganized. This review is about their Stockton on Tees branch
