    Pleased as.......

    Being totally unaware of solicitors actions and deeds we approached this firm. From day one it was easy, explanations of our requirements in law/financially all laid out to us in layman's terms and any odd questions were dealt with.     Very poor communication and guidance.

    I highly recommend Askews Solicitors Limited to anyone in a similar situation. As a first-time buyer, part of my deposit came from Sri Lanka as a gift from my parents, which made the process more complex. Initially, I worked with Hewitts Solicitors, Emma Haworth, but unfortunately, we faced several challenges due to a lack of clear guidance on the documentation required and very poor communication. Previous buyer a an Indian Doctor who was trying to buy the same house with the same firm and the same solicitor faced the same scenario according to the seller of my property. Clearly there is some issues looking at it. Looking back, had we instructed Askews Solicitors from the beginning, I am confident the transaction would have completed in under three months. Instead, we lost valuable time with Hewitts law firm. In summary if the source of funds are from Asia based countries DO NOT GO AHEAD WITH HEWITTS.

    Brilliant solicitor hewits

    Unfortunately this time round I wasn't able to secure my daughter back in my full time care but my solicitor Beth gannaway was amazing she was straight forward with me and cared. I really appreciate all the help and all the point she got across for me the statements she wrote and all the things she secured in place for me. I was lucky she was my solicitor.     Hewitts solicitors seem very good. I booked a call online but no one contacted me. I had to ring them to get things moving. At this point I was told the solicitor the online system recommended was actually on leave. My recommendation would be to ring or call in to get things started. Once the process started it ran smoothly and they seem efficient. Overall I would recommend them and would probably use them again.

      Can’t speak highly enough of Hewitts Solicitors. Danielle and her team, Jasmine and Kate, were excellent from start to finish. Always kept us in the loop, easy to get hold of when we needed them, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They’re clearly very knowledgeable but also approachable and down to earth, which made a big difference during what can be a stressful process. Everything was handled efficiently and professionally, and you could tell they genuinely cared about getting things over the line properly.
