    When we decided in 2023 to get a visa for my Filipino fiancé (now husband)it was decided to use a solicitor. Having approached various companies this was the only one who did not charge us for an initial consultation. We were contacted by Sherena Lawrence who explained everything. It was decided then that we would use her services. From day one everything was explained and we were told everything we needed to send. She collected everything and submitted out application which was successful. After we were married we got a correspondence from Sherena telling us that the government were raising the price of our next visa and asked if we could begin the process early in order to save money. Another successful application. We have now just completed out 3rd successful visa application. If not for the expertise of the company and in particular Sherena I doubt very much if we would have coped on our own. We are forever indebted to the company and of course Sherena for all the hard work they have put in and also for their success, without which we would not be happily married and living together. As a side note, same sex marriage is still illegal in the Philippines, so being successful here was the only option to be together. I look forward to 30 months time when once again Sherena will come to our rescue and get our final visa.

      Not only a lawyer but a great human being

      I found Shumyla during one of the hardest times of my life, fighting in court for my child. Having her by my side has meant so much to me. She works until late and somehow is there again early in the morning, I honestly don’t know how she does it. She keeps me updated, remembers the details and always makes time to give me advice. But what I appreciate most is how human she is. I try to be strong, but I’m not strong all the time. Sometimes I cry, sometimes I feel lost, and she listens with patience and kindness. At such a difficult time, that means more than people realise. I would choose her and her team again without hesitation.       Honestly i really feel unsupported I want to appeal a SGO, I made considerable amount of change in new circumstances for almost 1 year and 8 months did everything I was told, ran out of time due to waiting months & months for legal aid & it went to submissions and I was told to wait right to the end for showing all my evidences but how when I'm told I'm out of time! It was a high cost case & even still not sure what is shared in submissions based since August 2025 what about the year 2026 when I complied with everything! Still have lots of evidence to prove false accusations & no one I feel is helping to have my children who want to remove home since March 2026. 😭💔 Rachael Shay is lovely but nothing about this makes any sense 😩 I thought this firm battles very much to have children returning home & challenge inconsistencies but my case doesn't when I have lots of proof sat here in my phone in emails & letters, why does it take too long for help here 😢
