Unfortunately my experience with Lyons Bowe has not been a positive one. I found my contact challenging to deal with. Replies to my queries were either incredibly slow (having to chase replies up almost every time) or non-existent. I did not find them to be very personable, something that was important to me throughout this process, as it is for most people going through emotional and sensitive situations. I found my solicitor repeatedly used jargon that I didn't understand and offered little no to explanation of what terms meant. I didn't find my solicitor to be very knowledgeable about the process, on occasions giving me incorrect information, which in turn causes additional stress and creates a distrust between myself and the business that the process is being handled correctly. In addition, I don't feel that I was kept up-to-date with the timeline of the process - I asked several times for a breakdown of where in the process we were and when I could expect to complete - this request was ignored at least twice. Perhaps I was just unfortunate with who was allocated to look after my case as I have found the completions team member to be much more responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. However, overall I am not happy with the service that has been provided to me. Feeling uninformed and ignored by this company has only added stress to an already uncomfortable situation and I will be recommending anyone who asks me to actively avoid using this solicitor firm.

Katarina has been an absolute dream to work with. We are both first time buyers and were initially a little anxious about the process; we had so many questions every step of the way and Katarina was incredibly kind, patient and explained everything in brilliant detail. Katarina is super responsive and even when we were still waiting on our sellers' solicitors with no particular updates, Katarina still acknowledged all our emails kindly and kept us in the loop every step of the way.
