We had a dispute over a border with our neighbours. Birkett Long took the case but it was passed to several staff, the communication with the person handling the case was extremely poor, they were not well informed of the facts and were poorly prepared, they were almost impossible to get a hold of, the final resolution was delayed and things are still not completely resolved because of the delays experienced. It was an extremely negetive experience. Eventually we made a formal complaint and finally a more professional person took over and actually responded to us and we were able to finalise the case.

Experience with dealing with Tej was informative from the start and a level of professionalism that I had not experience from a law firm before. without just feeling like another case and another number for the firm wanting to just take the argument for the money, I was rightly informed from the go and not sold a dream of what the outcome would be with this person on my side. (which is a quality I haven't experienced in a solicitor before). on the day the professionalism and personal touch was above and beyond. Conducted seamlessly in the court room and advice after the day was superb. Hands down the best approachable and proactive firm I've have ever had to deal with. (have dealt with multiple firms and over £300k of solicitor bills in the last 10 years) I can say that, I will not be looking anywhere else for my advice in the future. 10/10

Using Birkett long was definitely the right decision, both only did they get the right outcome they ensured all matters were dealt with promptly and in a professional manner. Living overseas was a major concern for myself but I felt the whole time everything was dealt with professionally and there was clear communication at all times. Sian and the team ensured that the transfer of the property and negotiations were kept as agreed. Elliott and his team were able to negotiate with a third party an outcome which met my expectations I had previously tried other options with no success. Once funds were obtained from the third party I received these very quickly.

We have used Keebles the firm taken over by Knights for many years . Since the take over they are unrecognisable. Unhelpful, money grabbing - their bottom line is more important than their clients needs. Terrible billing that results in cases being locked before completion…

The basic witnessing & advice was done efficiently however we had a miscommunication regarding witnessing that needed to be done again & the process involved was time consuming & ended up with me paying nearly double the original fee without any clear communication what another 10 min witnessing virtual meeting meant in terms of fees
