We went for advice about an existing LPA. After an initial telephone conversation we arranged a meeting. Unfortunately the person we thought we were meeting was unavailable. We still do not know why. The person we ended up meeting was completely unprepared. The meeting was a complete waste of time. Subsequent interactions were similarly very poor as was the quality of Tadvice we received. Overall we found it an expensive waste of time and I would suggest try any other firm rather than Tees.

Tees were very professional and efficient, they listened to me and gave excellent advice. After an initial meeting the rest was done by either email or post, there IT was excellent and enabled me to review and sign some documents online. My aunts estate was dealt with smoothly and efficiently, and Tees helped me deal with all aspects of this to a satisfactory conclusion.

Tees Law were engaged to make a Trust Deed for my parents a few years back before they died. It turned out to be an unmitigated disaster because when the time came to unwind the trust after the last parent died, Tees Law had 'forgotten' to retire the partners of the firm when they left. Consequently, we were completely stuck for about 18 months while they said they were trying to find 20 of them to get them to sign off on it. Of course they didn't tell us the truth for a year and there were so many excuses as to why we couldn't unwind the Trust and a lot of obfuscation - no one cared and certainly did not take the situation seriously and mucked us around interminably. I would never recommend them in a million years. It was a horrible experience that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Zero stars.

We had never been in this situation before and I rang Tees on very short notice for advice. Ruth was very legally clear and exceptionally efficient which put us on ease. She then attended police custody interviews with us at very inhospitable times and 'held our hands' through the process to ensure we were not being tripped up at any stage. Ruth has our great thanks for her help.

I felt at ease straight away with Hannah Byatt. The case I brought to her, was something I never even knew even existed in Law. As my X wife and her solicitor at the time of our divorce nearly 10 years ago, seem to have kept to themselves, paperwork that a financial settlement had to be done, which I new nothing about. I had already paid her a substantial amount at time of our divorce, and I was glad at least this was recorded. So when I spoke to Hannah for first time she was very professional and put me at ease. I had just been made redundant and I was also going through Cancer treatment as well, which was making me quite poorly, but she was very caring in her approach. Although things are very slow going this is mainly due to my X wife’s solicitors, Hannah has always kept me updated, and has great Knowledge when it comes to my particular case. The advice she has given me, has always been easy to understand, and her friendly manor has been very much appreciated, especially when I couldn’t make appointments due to ill health, she dealt with my wife instead. All in all Hannah has been very supportive, and I can’t wait for our case to be finally over, as it has caused my wife and myself a lot of stress. But I would definitely recommend Tees Solicitors to family and friends in the future.

Kirsten Vincent completed the conveyancing for both the sale and purchase of my properties. Kirsten was amazing! She is highly efficient, responsive, professional and knowledgeable.
