Russell-Cooke was recommended to me by a barrister friend, and I’m very glad I followed his recommendation. Joseph Beams (associate) handled my conveyancing with professionalism and efficiency from start to finish. He answered all of my questions, kept things moving without delay, and completed everything on time. I’d tried other solicitors before and wasn’t satisfied, but Joseph was clear and did well (also – no unnecessary emails or overcharging – just clear, helpful communication!). I’d highly recommend him and Russell-Cooke, and Joseph for anyone looking for reliable legal support.

As a first-time buyer, I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Russel Cook Solicitors. They were excellent throughout the entire process. Charlie was incredibly fast at responding to all my queries, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Joseph at Russell Cooke was our knight in shining armour. Our previous solicitors were causing unnecessary delays and we needed to meet the stamp duty deadline. Joseph took everything on and resolved all queries within the deadline. He was supportive, informative and diligent and he was quick to respond to our queries. I had total faith in Russell Cooke throughout the process and I highly recommend their services.

Dealing with the death of a loved one can be a traumatic event. Having to deal with attorneys who are handling the division of assets as it relates to the estate of your loved one, where the attorneys do not care, is just disheartening. My loved one passed away in 2021 and to date, I am unable to get any information as to when the estate will be resolved. The customer service is awful. Erica John-Marie does not respond to emails or provide any information. There is no sense of urgency and further, no explanation or provision of a time frame of when the estate may be resolved. Information is incorrectly and falsely reported and there is no contact by anyone at Russell Cooke to explain why or when the false information would be rectified. There is absolutely no discussion as to what the issues are - not even in a general sense. Just awful! I am wowed by this awful treatment!

I always go to Russell-Cooke and my new favourite solicitor is Annika who facilitated a quite convoluted declaration of trust by totally getting what I needed and delivering with effortlessly professional communication.

Slow service and fees change without explanation. At the beginning, they stated the fees that would be owed for the services. Then, months later, was told that much higher fees were due for the same services (nothing additional). When asked for an explanation of this, they did not give one, yet demanded payment of the newly amended higher fees. Unprofessional and disappointing.

I did not have a good experience with the Probate team. Poor communication and they put you on a treadmill with their legal fees. I couldn't believe it when the final bill was calculated. I never leave bad reviews, but I was really upset and had to share.
