They withheld documentation from both client file and data requests
I was their client and when I brought a negligence claim they failed to provide the full client file but withheld court documentation. They ignored my request for further information for years and fobbed me off in an unfriendly way. The same documentation was withheld several times when they responded to my data requests. Strangely, when I confronted them with the fact that there were further court orders (that I had obtained from the court) they magically found the documents, but refuse for months to tell me why they were not found earlier, where the documents were stored and who had access to them. The documents would have belonged in the client file.

I feel that they mislead me.
I was a client and complaint to the Solicitors Regulation Authority. I then asked Nockolds to provide my data, but they said that they had "contact" with the Information Commissioner's Office and did not need to provide their "confidential correspondence to the ICO". From a legal perspective, this is incorrect and I called them out on it. The ICO would not have told them this, but they implied that this is what they were told. They since admitted that they would need to provide this data. But they still have not provided it. I assume that they do not want me to see what they had written to the SRA and will have their reasons. From what I understand from the SRA Nockolds have provided information that defers from the problem. I will keep chasing until I receive the data.

Avoid for conveyancing
Failed to ask sufficient questions about cladding or similar works, so have been landed with that bill. Didn’t move particularly fast. Expensive. Took them three years to refund the few hundred quid in my client account.
