Being a first time house buyer in the current market can be overwhelming and feel more complicated than it need to. I received a personal recommendation who had used Joseph’s services previously and from the outset I knew I was in experienced care. The experience from our first time buying a house is night and day. With what can be a stressful experience, Kalim made everything clear, straightforward, and manageable. Communication was prompt, and he patiently answered every single question we had without making us feel rushed or confused. Everything moved along to completion smoothly. We would wholeheartedly recommend Kalim to anyone looking for a reliable person. He truly became our safe space and we felt at ease knowing he was always there. I can't imagine a worse experience selling a property than what transpired earlier this year using Elite for conveyancing. Extremely poor communication, unnecessary and very costly delays, and a final bill (£4,975) ending up at more than DOUBLE their original quote (£1,900). Five thousand pounds to sell a modest 2-bedroom flat in Glouscestershire. Just about every email I sent was met with an out-of-office automatic reply, and it would take days to get an actual response. They were attentive for the first few weeks after instruction, but within two months I felt like I was constantly chasing them. Kalim Akhtar was polite, but far from responsive and not especially respectful of the time and money being wasted. Yes, there were issues and delays caused by the flat's management company, but I would have expected a large firm with multiple offices to be able to handle what should have been a simple transaction with more efficiency and attention. I truly regret not using a local solicitor and being taken in by Elite's initial quote.
