About this score
This rating is based on verified client feedback and compares how this firm’s value for money is perceived against the national average. In legal services, value for money is not about being the cheapest option, but about whether clients feel the service, expertise, and outcome justified the cost. This comparison helps place client experiences in context when choosing a law firm.

About this score
This rating is based on client feedback and compares how satisfied people were with the result of their legal matter against the national average for similar legal services. While every case is different and outcomes can depend on the law, the facts, and decisions made by courts or tribunals, this comparison is designed to be like for like.
When a firm has a large number of reviews, individual case differences tend to balance out over time. This makes the national average a useful benchmark for understanding how often clients feel the result achieved was fair and appropriate for their situation. Even small differences from the average can therefore reflect a meaningful difference in the overall standard of legal service provided.

What clients say about Watson Ramsbottom Limited
The firm is praised for residential conveyancing, house purchases, new-build transactions and mortgage work, with clients noting strong legal knowledge and efficient handling of complex matters. Valued soft skills include clear communication, regular updates, reassurance, kindness, professionalism and a helpful, responsive approach. However, some clients reported poor quality control, errors in documents and weak follow-up, with emails left unanswered and explanations lacking. A few felt pressured around phone contact and that the service favoured the developer rather than their own interests.

Couldnt have been easier
From start to finish the service received was excellent. Everyone was quick to respond/reply to any queries, we always felt somebody was on hand to help if we needed it. We have moved many times now and this was by far the easiest we have ever experienced. Our grateful thanks to all the team especially Ben Dawson and Nela Harrison

Poor Communication & Poor Quality Checks
Recommended by Anwyl Homes…received documentation & contracts with errors., had not been quality checked for mistakes by solicitor, bad practice towards communication, fail to respond to emails or explain details…threatened to charge for phone contact! not in our best interest, but rather the New Build Developer’s…compared to other conveyancers hired by myself, Watson Ramsbottom offered little support…will never use again!

Family law case
My case was complex and prior to being recommended to Watson & Ramsbottom, I was a client of a different firm of which had failed me as a client in many ways. When I approached Watson & Ramsbottom, they were professional, honest and gave me clear information. Sumayya Patel worked hard on my behalf, there was always someone I could speak to if she was unavailable and the time she put into this case was invaluable. I got the best possible outcome that could have wished for which would not have happened with the previous firm. As a result of how satisfied I have been with Watson & Ramsbottom, I am remaining with them for another case that is ongoing.
