This was my first time using Watson Ramsbottom Solicitors, so I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. Unfortunately, while things went fairly smoothly to begin with, there were a couple of issues towards the end that left me out of pocket and disappointed. Firstly, I was given an incorrect completion statement. I paid the amount shown, assuming everything was settled, only to be told later that the information was wrong and I owed an extra £116. That was frustrating enough, but it didn’t stop there. Because the check on the source of my funds took longer than it should have, and I wasn’t made aware of how this would impact things, I was hit with a further unexpected cost of £270. This was due to the money being used in the redemption statement without proper explanation beforehand. What really disappointed me, though, was the response when I raised these issues. Rather than receiving an apology or a proper explanation, I was met with blame-shifting and excuses. That kind of response just isn’t good enough when handling something as important as a legal or financial transaction. Due to this experience, I would not use Watson Ramsbottom again.

I cannot thank my solicitors enough for their dedicated and professional support throughout what was one of the most difficult periods of my life. They handled every aspect of my case; from the occupational order and non-molestation order, through to child arrangements, financial settlement, and ultimately the divorce with clarity, compassion, and expertise.
