This is our second time using WR solicitors for conveyancing, and all through the very stressful process, they were patient and understanding when things were very tense at times! Deborah, Harriet and Julie, couldn’t do enough to help, and the communication was amazing, always available to take a call which is unusual from other people’s experience. I would highly recommend Watson Ramsbottom.

Poor communication, lack of attention to detail if being generous verging on incompetence. Conveyancer told me twice she ‘didn’t know what to do’. Not a organisation that accepts responsibility for mistakes or wants to learn/improve service. Would never recommend or re-use.

Recommended by Anwyl Homes…received documentation & contracts with errors., had not been quality checked for mistakes by solicitor, bad practice towards communication, fail to respond to emails or explain details…threatened to charge for phone contact! not in our best interest, but rather the New Build Developer’s…compared to other conveyancers hired by myself, Watson Ramsbottom offered little support…will never use again!
Thankfully we found Carrie Hyde when we needed her most! Carrie was able to help and advise us during an exceptionally stressful time, cumulating in us taking action in the family courts and getting the protection we needed going forwards. Carrie was professional, respectful and sympathetic. Carrie understood our case and worked really hard to get the best outcome for us. Carrie was available to either meet with us or respond to emails whenever we needed her to.
A long and drawn out process culminating in an unacceptable and unprofessional handling of a Help to Buy redemption error, resulting in unnecessary and distressing pressure from the Conveyancer Despite having personally notified the Conveyancing Executive of an error in the Help to Buy redemption figure the day before completion; which they had not spotted, we were wrongly assured to complete using the incorrect disposal figure. The issue was known in advance and should have been resolved prior to completion. Instead, it has been raised retrospectively 2 months later, and I have been subjected to pressure to cover the shortfall caused by this error. This failure has led to unnecessary stress, delayed registrations, and the risk of knock-on impact to onward transactions. Communication has been reactive rather than proactive, with responsibility being pushed back onto the me as the client rather than owned by those responsible for progressing the transaction. A disappointing lack of diligence and accountability by the legal professionals we paid to advise and protect us during the sale of our property. I would not recommend.
Absolutely amazing service from the team, stress and hassle free. Very professional and efficient from start to finish.
