Very good; a good conveyance solicitor is worth a lot, especially if you have previously had one that is uninterested and did the bare minimum. We had Luke from the branch, and he worked quickly and effectively, and kept a lot of the buyers odd and silly requests away and managed them himself. Exactly what you want from the legal side for things like this.

Initial phone call i stated I was in work so would have to call them back. This was ignored as "it won't take long". They did not listen and kept talking. After this I downloaded their app which they never updated the time line on. When getting the final numbers sent to me where I had to sign they got them wrong roughly 5 times. Even though they had been told by financial advisor and sellers solicitors the numbers and even sent me over the documents off of the other solicitors for me to sign with the correct numbers on them. After they got the figures "correct" they were still wrong and off by over £1000 i had to send them. When conducting bankruptcy checks for myself and the person who guifted my depost, they waiting to confirm with the person who gave a gift towards deposit until the day before completion. They had not filed for bankruptcy once in their life, and live in south wales. The person they had matched her name to lived in the other side of England. These checks could have made the purchase not go through. The day before completion. When they already had the money. I would never reccomend using Devonalds to anyone. Atleast not the Victoria best team who was in charge of my file. They are disorganised and leave everything important last minute
We used Devonalds for the first time this year to sell and purchase property. Our house sold the beginning of December and we had exchanged and were in our new property by the middle of Feb which was incredible work (especially when everything is shut over Christmas) completely pushed and facilitated by our solicitors. There were a few hold ups because of the solicitors being used by our sellers, and our bank who were so unhelpful and disorganised. We would have completed even quicker if all parties were as efficient as Devonalds. The only document we were waiting on were the Title Deeds which Land Registry were taking their time to process, we emailed Devonalds about chasing this which they did on our behalf and they are now on their way to us in the post. The customer service was fantastic, no question/request was too much. We will 100% be using again and highly highly recommend.
This is the second time we’ve used Devonalds in Church Village, and once again we have had an excellent experience. They acted for us in the sale of our home and provided a professional, efficient, and friendly service throughout the entire process. We are very grateful for the support and high level of service we received from start to finish and would recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and efficient solicitors. Thank you Daniel and Lisa for making our house sale such a smooth and straightforward process.
I just bought my first house with devonalds and couldnt be happier with there service. Everything was so smooth and easy and the whole process from first contacting them to getting my keys only took 7 weeks. My solicitor was daniel Evans, him and his team was so helpful and i also found the app very easy to use. Would reccomend to anyone and will be using in the future for sure.

Steve explained everything to us about our Wills and what the best type for us would be. We also had an LPA done for us both and this was also explained very well to both of us. I have recommended him to our friends.
