From section 4 (AM)to GBH section 18, to GBH section 20 and then acquitted because of self defence was the journey I experienced. It started like a nightmare, it happened over night. Rushing to find a good firm and a good solicitor we came across ABV solicitors. Our case was difficult, stressful and draining. Our hopes were shattered, and we were expecting a high sentence. In this stressful process all ABV was asking for was patience… to be patient, something that can be very difficult to control when you are under pressure. They gave us honest, clear advice, they spoke to us like a friend and took time to explain our questions as we were confused with everything going on. They were calm and collected and gave us confidence. After 6 months of intense tension we were acquitted in our self defence trial with no guilty verdict to a gbh section 18 charge. I was represented by Somsul Hoque @ ABV Solicitors. I was charged with a serious criminal matter and if convicted, I would lose my liberty, livelihood and my status in the UK. I was on bail for 4 years over this time there was trailer set and canceled … interviews held though out the uk .. Claire worked day and night to make sure everything was 100% for when we got to trailer she also traveled to my interviews she kept me right at all times before and after and throughout the interviews kept in touch over the 4 years kept me update and just called to check in I honestly wouldn’t have made it though that time with Claire she reassured but was honest I would trust her with my life ( I did ) she’s understanding and doesn’t judge she is amazing and soo good at what she dose she goes way over and beyond her duties
